Acne Skin Care

what is the best teen acne free facewash?

I am not completely acne ridden, but i wish all of my acne was clear better. I mostly break out around my forehead and my chin. Right now, i am using the Neutrogena gold bar, and the on the spot treatment. It sorta works, but my skin gets dried out sometimes and it stil doesnt clear up my skin completely. What should i do to stop my skin from drying out, and what would be the most successful face wash for me? Or should i just stick w/ what i have and just use makeup to cover up blemishes?

  1. Proactive Solution Acne Free Severe Clearisil Clean & Clear
  2. I really like the Neutrogena Deep Clean line.
  3. Any of the systems like Proactive, Acne-free, Murad, etc. never worked for me. The cleansers dried out my face, the toners were too harsh, and the moisturizer made my skin oily and I found that I actually broke out more. They were a waste of money. I suggest getting Noxzema Anti-Bacterial Lathering Cleanser. It takes off any makeup and it cleanses very well without over-drying or leaving any residue. It will help keep the bacteria away that causes acne. Covering up acne with makeup can make it worse sometimes. Instead of a foundation and powder, get a nice tinted moisturizer that will put moisture back into your face to balance your natural oils, and give you a slight tint for some coverage.

  5. Okay, I use four things to keep my face acne free, and moisturized. Noxzema. Its a deep cleaning cream, it doesn't over dry your skin. Grape Seed Extract. Its a peel off masque. It cleans clogged pores. softens facial lines, soothes and tones skin. Almay Tone. It just gives a boost to toning your skin. It has cucumber in it to help hydrate and relpenish your skin. Pumpkin Purifying Face Mask. This leaves skin feeling clean and restores it to feel silky and look smooth.

  7. You have to really check out what you put on your face and body because some ingredients can cause acne. Current research is showing that a buildup of chemicals on the skin can cause acne, dryness (which leads to prematurely aging skin and makes acne worse) and skin cancer. It's important to look at the ingredients in ALL the products you use on hair as well as skin because so many manufacturers choose to use petrochemicals and problematic synthetic ingredients. Almost any product - cleansers, moisturizers, shampoos, conditioners, hair gels, sunscreens, etc. - can be causing breakouts on your face and body, or drying out your skin. The ones advertised to clear acne can contain the most chemicals. Here's a page that shows what's in a Clearasil product and what those ingredients can do to skin !http://www.best-mens-skin-care.com/ingredients-in-a-clearasil-product.html To find chemical-free products, read labels and research ingredients - or start with certified organic products which don't contain harmful chemicals.
