2. clean and clear advantage. it conceals and works on getting rid of and keeping the acne away.
3. I have severely acne prone skin. It took me many years to learn how to fight my acne. Most of the things doctors prescribe made mine worse, and proactive was a horrible thing for my skin, as I do not respond well to benzoyl peroxide. My advice is to find any unscented face cleanser that contains glycolic acid or salacylic acid. Make sure you moisturize with a frangrance free moisturizer. Even products that say they are hypoallergenic are not always that. Even ones that say unscented often have some kind of frangrance. Make sure there is absolutley NO SMELL. Things that create smells, even if pleasant, are irritants for your skin. Don't over cleanse your face either. Twice a day. That's it. Don't try to exfoliate with harsh products. That will just flare up and further clog pores. It's best to exfoliate with glycolic acid and let the layers of your skin naturally peel off. Exfoliating creams and products will leave your face with raw skin that will be prone to being exposed to more things to hurt it. If you have an acne problem, talk to your parents about buying you a blue and red acne light. You can find them on line. The blue light kills acne cauing bacteria and the red light sooths and promoted healing. That's how I cleared up my face. I had HORRIBLE acne for over two years and tried everything under the sun. The glycolic acid and lights cleared me up almost immediatley...
4. for daily maintenance I use "acnefree" which is a generic and cheaper version of proactive but it works jst the same. Its about $15 for a 1 month supply. For spot treatments I usually use neutrogena "on the spot" acne treatment. It works really well and I think its $3-4 for the tube Witchhazel aka astringent is super cheap and will dry up acne fast, use a Q-tip and dab it on acne spots. you can also clean cuts and treat brusies with it. Don't put it all over your face unless you have lots of oil because it is very drying. If you buy witchhazel get the generic stuff because its about 99cents a bottle and works great. It doesn't treat redness or blemishes well just the zits
