Acne Skin Care

Which is the best acne cream for girls?

I am 13 of age and I am between acne creams. I have Proactive but I don't seem to see a difference. I tried Clean and Clear and I didn't see a difference either. Any suggestions?

  1. Clean and Clear should work... hmm... maybe Clearasil.
  2. try AcneFree at walmart. give it about two weeks for a visible difference. if your acne is bad, see your doctor and ask for benzaclin.
  3. ive tried proactiv and it didnt really work for me either, so i switched to acnefree which is the generic brand of proactiv, but for me, it worked and it was a lot cheaper. right now im trying out a new acne cream, noctzema. its working so far
  4. Try home remedies. Lime juice, tomato slices, home made packs can be used for treating acne. You can find more cheap, effective and natural home remedies for pimples at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/acne.html
  5. wash face everyday with a daily cleanser, use either neutrogena or clearasil and your face should clear up in about a week or two. o yea, make sure you limit junk food and drink plenty of water-you should see results ♥email me if you have any other questions
  6. biore facial cleanser & astringent work REALLY well.
  7. It depends on your skin type, but since you most likely have oily skin, i would definetly reccomend Estee Lauder Oily Skin Purifying Mud Wash - it is absolutely amazing. I have had much, much less acne since I purchased it, and it lasts for quite a while too. I still have my bottle that I bought in February. Good luck!
  8. As of recently I've found out that using the Clinique 3-Step Skin Care System (more particularly the Clarifying Lotion and Moisturizer) works for me. Use the Clarifying Lotion then the Moisturizer. Apply it twice a day and after about a week and a half your face looks great! Nothing else worked for me either until this. I tried pretty much everything. It's not like my face is horribly broken out either..just enough to make me uncomfortable. I guess just keeping your face extra clean works. Also a big tip..Don't wear any makeup (mainly foundation) to bed under any circumstances or your skin will break out bad after a while. (I'm 15 and I feel your pain!) Good luck! Here's a link to the stuff: http://www.clinique.com/templates/products/3step_landing.tmpl?cm_sp=topnavs-_-3step-_-landing You can buy it at Macy's or any place else. The soap (1st step) really does not seem necessary to me! Hope I helped!
  9. Get this stuff called Spectro-Jel, get the one that is for problem skin. Trust me on this, I had problem skin when I was a lot younger and my doctor told me to get this stuff and I have used it for 8 or 9 years now. It is great, and my skin is really clear and healthy looking. You can get it at the drugstore.
  10. i'm 12 and I use clearasil and oxy. oxy is more stronger than clearasil. try different creams like oxy, clearasil, clear and clean, netrogena etc. o almost forgot! use different cleaning soaps for zits, and make sure they say that they don't clog pores.
  11. did you try clean and clear acne spot treatment? it worked for me..
  12. your better off visiting a dermatologist
  13. Acuzine works by eliminating the cause of acne by removing all unwanted and waste materials from the body. It is a good source of antioxidants that remove the free radicals that harm the skin. It eases the inflammation and redness of various types and heals the damaged skin. It has successfully cured acne of all types for many years and the results have been encouraging. http://www.zitsandpimples.com/category/Acuzine-For-Acne-Treatment.html
  14. You have to attack acne where it starts, with your diet. For me, diet was the cause and solution. Topical medications fight the symptoms. Start by eliminating trans fats and eating more fruits and vegetables. Once you start cleaning up the inside of your body, by eating properly, the outside of your body (your skin) will be get cleaned up too. I started a website to document my problem and solution. http://www.fredstown.com/ You might find it helpful to read my story. Just remember to eat an all natural/organic diet with lots of fruits and vegetables. Stay away from processed foods. Use mild, all natural cleansers and don't pick at your face. Get lots of sleep and enough water for your body weight. Remember, clean body = clean skin. While you're waiting for your skin to clear, remind yourself that acne is a challenge that you will overcome soon. Once you're rid of it, tell all your friends how you did it. That's what I'm doing. God Bless. Source(s): http://www.fredstown.com/
