What's a good birth control for acne?
I'm starting birth control but would like one that can also help with my hormonal acne as well. I'm open to other methods (not just pill form). Anything really that would help with this god awful painful hormonal acne. Thanks, I'd really appreciate websites that were helpful to you in your choice of birth control.

- Many will help just by leveling out your hormone levels. There are ones that are advertised as helping with acne, but they are not necessarily better than others, just choose to advertise that to get more $$. Talk to your GYN about low dose BCP's. He/She will know the best one for you. As for other ways to help- when I started using a moisturizer for wrinkles, I noticed my acne flareups declined. I think it was the alpha/beta hydroxy acids -they make your skin refresh itself more often. See a dermatoligist if it is really bad- they may try you on special antibiotics. Don't suffer-make an appointment!
