What hair products are best for acne-prone skin?
I have lots of thick, curly hair, and as a result need to use hair products. I've gone without using anything more than a few times a month for a while, but I really do need something smooth the curls and keep them shapely, or a straightening/heat protectant lotion for when I blow-dry it and use a straightening iron. I have no problem finding products that work, but then my skin ends up suffering because washing product out every night would kill my hair. I have extremely acne-prone skin, and have yet to find anything that makes my hair look great without making my skin break out worse. Anyone out there have any suggestions? Also, price isn't an issue- a quality product is worth the cost. I do use proactiv- that wasn't the question.

- The salon product I was using was making my hair extremely oily and giving me acne around my hairline, but the product I switched to (which my company makes, lol) has cleared both of those problems up. It took a little while tho (a few months).
