Acne Skin Care

I have oily skin on my face and I'm acne prone. Is Pro Active really effective in curing and preventing acne?

I'm a 30 something guy from the Philippines. I've had oily skin and acne prone skin on my face since high school. I usually have small but noticeable outbreaks on my hairline, on my forehead and in the cheek areas, and lots of whiteheads in the nose. Is Pro Active really safe and effective in curing and preventing acne and whiteheads just as I saw in the tv informercials?

1. Yer it works but iv'e heard that if use it then go off it your acne comes back ten times as worse
2. I've used it for about 6 years and it does work... you just have to be diligent with it... if you stop using this or any product your acne will come back, but that's common sense.
3. i used pro active and it did not work for me at all it just made my acne worst. so i think it does depend on the person who uses it.

6. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! its too harsh on the face for a beginner. buy the sensitive skin version, not the one with a lot of benzoyl peroxide!
