does showering after using acne cream affect the strength of the acne cream?
i always put on acne cream but it burns my face so i take a shower.. am i just washing off the acne cream?

- Almost all acne creams require you to wash your face first and completely dry it. Not just towel dry, either. You should wait 10-15 minutes after washing your face to apply the acne cream. Showering after putting it on is going to waste the cream. My son has the same issue when he doesn't let his face completely dry before applying his cream.
- Yes - try showering with an acne wash - at night then do a toner when you dry off. Since the cream burns you repeat in the morning (Shower/wash/toner) see how this works.
