Skin care- acne solutions?
I was for the past 4 years been on a certain product that was nice and kept my skin hydrated but wasn't working too well with keeping away acne. Just two weeks ago I tried proactive. Now my skin is super dry and flaky. I am stopping proactive and is interested in trying something else that will hydrate my skin and help with the acne. Any suggestions? I heard about Clinique- if you have any comments about Clinique please provide. Thank you!

- pro active is good
- DHC all the way. its the only way. go 'blemish control set'
- Well I use neutrogena and it works great! especially try the bead mask, it comes in a short round jar.
- I used proactive...did the same thing for my face...use it only once a day instead of the twice...less harsh on ur face and just use regular soap the other time.. Part 2 Clinique...Is over priced and DOESNT WORK!
- the best solution is going on a body cleanse. the main reason you get acne is because of the toxins in your body. you can get them at health food stores. and definitly drink TONS of water, excersize regularly, and get lots of sleep. a really healthy body is the best cure for acne!
- honey, I have tried them all! I am so serious! Proactive made my skin worse than any of them! My face burned and broke out more than ever. Everything you can buy or apply to your skin I tried. Until a friend of mine told me to use "Mary Kay skin products". You wouldnt thik that would work but my skin is so senstitive and everything made me break out except MK. Get the Scrub, Face cleanser and toner. Also, get the zit gel. Thats it and it will last you for 3 months or more only costs 60 bucks all together! Within less than 2 weeks I had the clearest skin ever!! GET IT!
- For the longest time my friend had horrible acne...she was so imbarressed and selfconcious about it. She started using the Clinique acne wash and cream and in a matter of only 4 days her skin was remarkably smoother, clearer, and healthier. Clinique didnt dry out her skin or make her skin flaky. She was so happy with her results that she still uses the product to this day...I really hope this helps..good luck
- to the person above me proactiv doesnt work and is pricy too!
- I would recommend seeing a dermatologist-I tried all the products around to no avail, went to a dermatologist, found out i have roseca I'm following her instructions,my skin is great! no more trouble. go to a pro it's worth it!
- Proactiv doesnt work it turned my face red and puffy! I use murad in the morning and clearasil at night it works so good but if i do get an occasional pimple, i put tea tree oil on it overnight and in the morning it is halfway gone!! i hope this helps!
- Try baking soda and water to dry up the acne, and then use the Mary Kay TimeWise Age-Fighting Moisturizer to hydrate your skin. Visit: www.marykay.com/joycewhittington If you need additional information, please let me know Joyce (Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant)
