clearasil or acne free does not work?
i have used clearasil and acne free medication for acne but it takes a while for it to make the acne go away and they only go away for a short time like a couple days. is there anything that can take away acne and keep it from coming back?

- Clean and Clear overnight stuff works really well. You just put it on at night before you go to bed, then you wash your face in the morning, and it's pretty much clear! Washing your face every night with a facial cleanser prevents your pores from being clogged.
- I would recommend Dermalogica. They are some of the best acne med I've used. They can get rid of blackheads and make your skin smoother. It's a bit pricey but you should deff. try it.
- yeah same here. clearasil actually gave me more than i actually have. leave your acne alone and it will go away by itself. products will just irritate it and it will get worse before it gets better. trst me i have spots right now and i just cover them up with concealer every morning..nobody notices i have spots. maybe thats what you need to do. btw.. dont pick your spots, no matter how annoying they are. most of my 'spots' now are actually scars.
- i think that diffrent things work for diffrent people like clearasil worked for me by the 3rd day and proactive didnt work for me at all
- For me, nothing would work. The only good products that worked for me were ProActiv and Noxzema products work good too. I would recommend Noxzema because it's a lot cheaper and it works the same [in my experiance.]
- absolutely nothing was working for me. Proactive just ended up being expensive and making it worse. i've been dealing with acne since the fourth grade and i'm in my mid twenties now. I finally went to the doc and he gave me tetracycline and retin a gel. i am just going into my 2nd month using these and it is working great! it isnt a quick fix...there is no such thing if you really want it to go away and stay away. this is a long haul fix. be patient!
- It all depends on how bad ur acne is. It might be an idea to see ur Doctor and they will prescribe some better acne treatment. I use Clindatech and its fantastic! For really bad acne antibiotics can be prescribed. If in doubt see ur Doctor!!
