- hey ive tried everything and no one can be acne free in 3 days. it takes at least 3 weeks. i was on proactive and that didn't help. it would for a little and i'd get it right back. but then i started taking vitamin e pills too. they say when you try something new it makes you acne worse. but you have to stick with it. anyways i hope i helped
