Proactiv vs. Acne Free?
I tried Proactiv a couple of yrs ago and it wasn't very successful at clearing my acne, and now 2 years later I've been to the dermatologist and have been on differin gel, benzoyl peroxide, neobenz micro, doryx, and have tried several home remedies and i STILL have acne, its not as bad as it was since i've been on differin for the past 2 years but i still have it. So I'm considering trying proactiv again but don't want to spend that kind of money, do you think the cheaper version called Acne Free works as effectively? I have my doubts that proactiv / acne free will work the 2nd time around but i thought i'd give it another shot.

- Yes acne free is the cheaper version of proactiv. You have to give both some time to let it work. Seriously, it does wonders if you do exactly what it says. You have nothing to loose, so I would just try the acne free. Why not? Ya know?

- alley that was extremely rude. I had acne for 2 years and now it is finally gone. They both work the same. I wouldn't recommend the acne free lightning cream it turn my face completely red. Also proactiv drys out your skin completely. try Murad!! It work really fast and doesn't dry out your skin.
- i tried proactiv last year and i dont think it worked that good for me i've never tried acnefree but idk my friend had horrible acne and she tried everything and it didnt work but now she just washes her face with neutrogena and has these pads she puts on her face that she got from the doctor so if your acne is really bad, you should try going t the doctor and asking for the best thing they have i have really oily skin but i found this to work.. i use apricot scrub before i actually wash my face so that it takes away the dead skin and then i wash my face with neutrogena and use astrignent to get the excess oil out and make my pores smaller and then break out before i get my period, but the everyone does but i found this stuff that works that neutrogena 8 hour gel i know i use neutrogena alot but thats bc it works you should try it since its alot cheaper than proactive my parents payd 60$ for it and it doesnt even work that well ! good luck [=
