Acne Skin Care

Proactiv, Acne Free, or Aloe Vera, which is best for acne and post acne brown spots?

I have brown spots on my face from acne. For a while, I've been using hydroquinone, and its been working, but it did nothing from preventing new pimples from ocurring, which caused more spots. I've heard that proactiv helps with brown spots, and i've heard that aloe vera helps with acne and brown spots. I have no idea about acne free. Should i use hydroquinone, proactiv, acne free, or aloe vera for my acne and brown spots. I've heard that benzoyl peroxide prolongs brown spots, but glycolic acid helps them out. both are in proactiv.

  1. Proactiv
  2. I don't think aloe vera is going to do anything for acne, but it could help your brown spots. From what I just read, AcneFree is pretty much the same as Proactive, just a generic version. They both seem like they would be kind of harsh to the skin. Check out this website for a great skincare regimen: http://www.acne.org/
  3. Hi, I know what you are going through, I am dealing with dark spots, break outs, and acne scars. Most people don't know that Acne is an internal thing, Most true acne sufferers like myself have been put on numerous antibiotics, even Accutane. Acne or break outs can come from your hormones, allergies, tooth decay, stress, and I just found out, even parasites, and toxins in your blood. So I am going to GNC to get some help with detoxing my system. I have been to numerous dermatologist, and these days you have to research and find alternative medicines and herbs for your conditions. I have heard that Murad's acne system is good for break outs, and for the spots, this lighting cream called Awanshine is suppose to be the bomb, it has kojic acid in it. It's suppose to really work. I have failed at getting my bottle ordered, the Awanshine website is kinda crazy, I believe it is at Awanshine.com God Bless!
