Acne Skin Care

Whats some good acne cream?

I really need to get rid of my acne. I mainly get it by my eyebrows, my forehead, and under my nose. I tried proactive and it def. didn't work! Clearesel acne pads and cream takes forever to get rid of them! Whats the best, and does it have a website so I can order it online?

  1. Tazorac but it is prescription only, so head to your dermatologist!
  2. Beauticontrol
  3. Hey. You should try Nuetrogena... it comes with soap to clean your face..and the mosturizing lotion and some other stuff. It usually workswithin a week or so. If that doesnt help i suggest you go to dermatologists to get your acne checked. While their.. ask if you can have a prescription for Evoclin. Evoclin is a canister of foam spray that you apply all over your face or directly to your acne. It decreases the size of pimples/zits and within 2 days your face will be completely cleared. It also helps to keep them away. Hope I helped
  4. I know clearasil pads don't work, but the clearasil cream really works! Also, it totally depends on your skin type. But for most people, the clearasil cream is meant to dry out your skin, so that it dries up the acne, so don't use any moisturizer with the cream, because the moisturizer is meant to make your dry skin soft and moist - the opposite of what the clearasil creamis trying to do, or any acne cream for that matter. Give it at least 2 weeks for your skin to adjust to any product.
  5. Isotrexin. It's the gel form of roaccutane and really works. You get it on prescription.
  6. Clear Advantage by Arbonne.. It is a natural way to fight acne so you don't damage your skin, this actually helps with the old blemishes as well as the new.. They have a 45 day money back guarantee!!
  7. I use acne free its that best stuff
  8. The BEST one, is a Wal-Mart brand called Equate Acne Treatment. Now I know what you're thinking, yeah ok WalMart riiiight. But seriously, I have tried them all -- Proactive, DDF, Neutrogena, Aveda, some Clinique stuff, Retin-A (from my dermatologist), Differin, Ziana (also prescription medicines), Juice Beauty, and Philosophy. The best stuff I have found to get rid of the blemishes, and I mean REALLY get rid of the acne (and acne scars) is the Equate Acne Treatment. Apply a blob generously to the blemish and let it dry (don't rub it in) like a mini mask over the acne (don't spread it everywhere on your face, only over the acne). It costs $3. What to you have to lose? Other great products that help clear blemishes: 1. Queen Helene Mint Julep mask (rated #1 on Makeup Alley.com) -- $3 at CVS 2. Equate (also a Wal Mart brand) Apricot Scrub. it has salycilic acid to medicate the blemishes and then exfoliates dead skin to remove dry flakes from acne cream. also like $2-3 3. Witch Hazel (CVS brand) -- use a cotton pad and rub over your face (avoiding eye area) AFTER you have washed your face. It removes excess dirt that your face soap didn't remove. It deep cleans and conditions your face. Use this before you apply the acne cream. Wait until you face is completely dry before applying the cream. 4. If your skin gets dry (which it may with any acne treatment that happens), use Clean & Clear Dual Action moisturizer. It will moisturize your skin without making it greasy and without making you breakout. $5 So basically, that's the entire skin-care regime for under $20. Trust me, all of that stuff works!!! I've spent SOOO much money on skincare products. And lately I've discovered that list has the essentials for any acne problem. I don't use any acne treatments any more as a result. It's worth it to spend the big money in a nice eye cream or a facial / peel, but not in the acne treatments, you can find products MUCH better than the fancy shmancy ones and a hell of a lot cheaper!! Good luck!
  9. First of all, no one has flawless skin. Some people have it better than others, but thats just genes and stuff. Go to www.freewebs .com/reelbeauty11 for skin and beauty tips. I know its for young girls, but it works for anyone! I know some people who have tried ProActive and it worked, but I also know some others who have tried it and it made it worse :( I know some who have put rubbing alchol on their skin or peroxcide to dry up the pimples. It also kills bacteria :) . Also, try going to a dermotoligist, or ask your regular doctor. Often times the regular doctor, who knows more about your med. history and whatnot can help you more than a dermatologist. are you a vegetarian? That might have something to do with it. Its worth checking into. Try dabbing toothpaste or honey on your zits before you go to bed - works wonders. Overall, remember that beauty counts more on the inside than on the outside, and your true friends will love you for you, and not your skin. Oh, and try a different kind of foundation, if you wear it. Try to use a kind with lots of water in it. It looks great and doesn't clog pores half as bad. And check your habits - do you prop your chin up a lot with your hands? That might cause the acne as well. Look for the cause, as well as the cure. Sweat naturally cleanses your skin, so be sure to exercise often!
  10. Wash you face twice a day with "Safeguard" (soap)
  11. Try Patricia Wexler's Acne Starter Kit. The very best thing to do is go to Bath and Body Works, talk to one of their associates or Managers who use the products. They can personally tell you about their experiences with the products. The reason you want to try these products is because they are 100% guaranteed. If you have ANY problems with them OR if they don't work. You can return them for your money back. I can tell you it is good stuff.
