Does ProActiv acne care work?
I have mild acne, and I'm thinking of trying it. Did it work for you? Or do you know anyone else who have used it? Thanks! Is it a lot of trouble to have to keep ordering it?

- it didnt work for me at all!! i tried it for over 4 months and nothing changed!! I went to my doctor and they prescribed me something!!
- i know a girl that had acne so bad she looked like one big zit. she used it for about a month and it took it all away. even the scars that were left prior. it works like a dream. but if u quit using it, the acne will come back.
- YES!!!! i HIGHLY recomend pro active!! i started using it about a year ago.. and it's a miracle worker!!!! seriously.... i had major acne(no jokes)!!! and now my face is clear... but u have to use it for at least 2-3 weeks for it to really work. when i first got it, i didnt think it was working, so i quit using it... but then my friend(who was using it too) asked me if it was "working".. and i said no.. i wasnt using it... and shes like" No wonder it isnt working!! u HAVE TO USE IT EVERY DAY!!! ..... anyways the first week u get it, only put it on at night... after that, use it in the morning, and at night... but im warning u, if u dont keep up with it every morning and night, your acne will start to come back... (oh, and youre getting the "3set-kit thingy, right?) the mask should come with it.. use that like twice or 3 times a week.... first put on the "renewing cleanser.. then the mask.. well, i might have bored you with all this writing, but i highly reccomend pro active!! i love it!! :D
- Yes its will work and I been using it for about 3 and a half years! I too got mild acne and you get 1 break out and many just one!
- it works for some people but then sometimes it doesnt. it might work for you but then it might. if you have the money and want to give it a try, it couldnt hurt. but i know a product that helped with me. i ha mild acne/a lot of breakouts and i used the neutrgena wave. i dont know if you have heard of it but it really worked for me. it might dry out your skin a little bit but you could always put face lotion on it. and its only 12 dollars in wal-mart. and the pads to use with it are i like 7 or 8 dollars. good luck and hope everything works out.
- Does Proactive Work? Yes. The problem with Proactive? Proactive uses a 10% benzoyl peroxide gel, but benzoyl peroxide, while it does kill the bacteria that causes acne, it also dries out and irritates the skin causing scaly skin and itching. What's the solution? If you choose to use Proactive slather a good moisturizer on after washing and before applying their lotion. The better solution? Use a lower percentage Benzoyl Peroxide Gel such as the one at www.DanielKern.com. At 2.5% it is clinically just as effective as a stronger solution and causes less drying and itching. However, follow the regimen instructions at www.acne.org and do not ever skip using a moisturizer when using benzoyl peroxide at any strength.
