- best care is the liquid got from rice do it and believe because the vitamin and minerals in rice get put out the dirt.
- Proactive!! Supposely it's the best... Google it.
- Check this site: http://www.acne.org/ It has cheap, effective treatment anyone can do at home. It amounts to the exact same thing as ProActiv but a lot cheaper.
- I've tried everything to combat my acne. The only two that have helped are proactiv and Face Doctor/Surgeon soap.
- I would look at the following resources to find out the latest acne treatments available: Guidelines of care for acne vulgaris management. http://www.guideline.gov/summary/summary.aspx?ss=15&doc_id=10797&nbr=005625&string=acne Therapy Topical therapy Retinoids Benzoyl peroxide Topical antibiotics (erythromycin and clindamycin) Salicylic acid Other topical agents Combination topical agents Systemic antibiotics Tetracyclines (minocycline, doxycycline) Macrolide antibiotics (erythromycin) Trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole Hormonal agents Estrogen-containing oral contraceptives Anti-androgens (spironolactone, cyproterone acetate, and flutamide) Oral corticosteroids Isotretinoin Miscellaneous therapy Intralesional steroids Chemical peels Comedo removal Complementary therapy Herbal agents Psychological approaches Hypnosis/biofeedback Dietary restrictions (not recommended) Acne treatments: Promising therapies for clearer skin http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/acne.html Prescription Medications for Treating Acne http://www.skincarephysicians.com/acnenet/prescriptmeds.html Treating Severe Acne http://www.skincarephysicians.com/acnenet/treatsevereacne.html What Is the Best Treatment for Mild to Moderate Acne? http://resources.fpin.org/EBP/PatientHandouts/pat%20handout_0207.pdf
