  2. use Clearasil night cream, works perfect. Buy a mud mask and relax for about 45 minutes, u will look great after words. here is a sight for beauty tips http://tabbyr.blogspot.com/
  3. mix egg whites, honey, and vinegar together and apply to your face. let it dry for about 30 minutes then rinse off with warm water. you can also try washing your face with milk of magnesium. works wonders! good luck ! =]
  4. Philosphy Acne Kit-- cost about 45 dollars and have everything you need (cleanser, night cream that helps kill bacteria, serum to treat blemishes, moisturizer)
  5. I have heard that proactive is really good and everyone that I know that has used it has been really satisfied. I like the clearasil persi-gel when breakouts are limited to just a couple of pimples.
  6. Erythromycin Topical Solution 2% it is prescription though
  7. Milk of magnesia is good. For acne, try using Pond's for facewash (it's super moisturizing, but trust me, you'll need it to counterbalance my second suggestion) twice a day, followed by benzoyl peroxide every night. And don't forget to moisturize! When you don't moisturize, your skin will create more moisture (in the form of OIL!) to compensate, which causes acne. I've been using Pond's and benzoyl peroxide for two weeks, and my acne is almost completely gone. It's great having a clear face! But you might have to try several different things...because different products work better for different people. My mom swears by Avon's Anew, several friends swear by Mary Kay...it just depends on you, and your skin type. I wish you luck! :)
  8. This is what I suggest for your acne: Mix baking soda and witch hazel/or water together until it comes to a good constancy, and then spread on your face and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. These two things are very inexpensive and it's very easy to do since there is only two ingredients. Toothpaste is good for drying out your pimple (for some people). Put only a little bit before you go to sleep. Some people use this as a mask but DON‘T EVER DO THIS! It can change your skin tone and make your face discolored. But this is not recommended to everyone because it can make it worse. Try to buy a cleanser that works for you, and when you wash your face, open your pores with hot water (not too hot, or it will dry out your skin) and massage it gently into your skin. Then, use cold water at the end to close you pores. The smaller your pores are, the less likely you're prone to pimples. Clearasil, Neutrogena, and proactive are good choices to start if you want a cleanser. THey might not work for you, so try different products. Don't use body soaps because they dry out your skin. Don't scrub too hard when you wash your face, because it can irritate your skin. Zinc (type of vitamin) is the one of the best things you can use to get rid of pimples. You can buy these almost about any large store (such as Wal-Mart or Shaws.) Have one or two tablet per day and try to cut down the junk food and replace it with vegetables and fruits. Drink lots of water and don't pop you acne. Popping acne can lead to acne scars. Zinc can be found in many types of fishes. If you have sensitive skin, don't use make up. Some of the things in make up can clog your pores and cause pimples. Keep your hands out of your face as much as you can because you hands are full of bacteria and oils. Keep your hair out of your face because the oils in your hair could go into your pores. Change you sheets because they're are trapped with dirt, oils, etc. An egg yoke can be used to make you pores smaller. I used this when I had pimples. Just take the egg yolk (the yellow part) and leave it on your face for 10-15 minutes and rinse off with warm water and then splash your face with cold water. Aloe vera helps acne scars lighten and less noticeable (lemon, cocoa butter, witch hazel, and tea tree oil do the same thing). Use the gel (of the aloe plant) or the real thing.
  9. I had Rosacia on my cheeks and that is why I got into the profession I am in. Murad has great protective creams for Rosacia prone skin but sadly they will not stop the progression of the Rosacia. What really works is about 4-6 sessions of IPL (Intense pulsed light) therapy. It destroys the capilaries and stops the breakouts and redness for good. You can make a mask of about 8 crushed asprin and enough water to make a good paste, put it on your skin for 10 min and wash it off. That will calm down the redness temporarily. Use gentle products like Cetaphil to wash your face and stay away from spicy foods, hot foods, alchool and the sun. All of those things exacerbate Rosacia. Please go see a dermatologist and ask about IPL, he/she may perscribe you Metrogel, it works but only on mild cases of Rosacia. Antibiotics are dangerous and do not always work. Get the IPL done, it was the best thing I ever did for myself. I wish you the best of luck, *hugs*
  10. Sorry, kiddo. You really should see a dermatologist who can determine if you actually have acne, which may require antibiotics. My college roommate had awful acne, but when she got the right prescription her face cleared up in a matter of weeks. It was amazing. Rosacea also requires seeing a dermatologist. The first medication I got did zip. New doctor, new prescription and bingo, I don't look like I've stuck my face in a hot oven. One of the best tips I got was to keep my hands away from my face. The bacteria from your hands get into your facial pores which are already stressed.
  11. Cucumber - mashed or in juice form - can be applied to sensitive skin; unlike many other acne home remedies it doesn't dry your skin, on the contrary, it acts like a very gentle cleanser and moisturizer. Log on to http://tipsfromruby-acne.blogspot.com/ for a few home made tips to heal acne .
