Acne Skin Care

I am taking 2 prescription topical meds for my acne. Will it affect my treatment if I use lotion?

I was just perscribed to take these 2 topical acne medications, one at night, one in the morning. The dermatologist never told me anything about lotion, but my skin is becoming very dry and I wonder if it would be ok to put on lotion. Will that affect my treatment at all? Thank you

1. why dont you call the derm and ask!
2. it should be fine, use a noncomodogenic oil free moisturizer which wont clog pores. apply it either before applying the topical medication or after the medication has dried.
