White things in scab?
Being a teen, like most, I have acne/skin problems. Mainly around my chest and breast area. I have many stress issues how I deal with stress and the way I do it is ,as gross as this may seem, pick zits. Now sometimes I get a bit carried away, and end up making scabs on the said acne areas. In this case my left breast. This scab has been here a wile, about 2 weeks, But Ive been taking care of it by often applying alcohols and other germ/infection killers. I just got out of the shower and I accidentally wiped away my scab and Exposing the tissue underneath it was white but it wasn't infection or puss. and this small hair-like thing was poking out the middle of the scab. I looked closer and grabbed my tweezers and pulled it out. It looked like a zit, but it was longer and stood straight up and left a small yet deep hole in the scab approx the same size of the "zit" but I think It may be a ingrown hair..but I only get these on my breast. Any ideas on what this little white "rod" is

- No, no, no. Do you know what you are doing? You are PERMANENTLY scarring yourself. You really want all those scars there when you are older and want to become "intimate" with someone? You'll take your top and bra off and there will be these ugly PITS in your skin because you picked your pimples. Stop it! Leave them alone. And stop using alcohol. You need to go to the drug store and get some acne medication. It's not expensive, but alcohol just over dries the skin and makes acne worse. Get something that will actually heal it. And STOP picking.
- sounds like and ingrown hair, as for the acne, I found the best solution was to throw out all the fancy acne crap and scrub with pure ivory soap twice a day.
- Sounds like an ingrown hair. Get some neosporin and put a little on there and put a bandaid over it. Do this for a couple of days to help it heal. Then give it a little drying time without the bandaid and neo. You might have to repeat until it gets better. Try your best not to pick. Find something else to do when you're stressed. Play a handheld game or eat sunflower seed, something to keep your hands busy until you settle down.
