  1. Try a stronger acne treatment, like Proactiv. I use Proactiv day and night, and it works pretty well over a long period of time. If using a stronger acne treatment doesn't help, try benzoyl* peroxide. That is what's in all acne treatments, and it does work. You still might want to see a dermatologist if your acne doesn't improve over a long period of time.
  2. Hey, you can try proactiv or Stievamycin. WIth Stievamycin it gets worse before it gets better. Alos you need a perscription for Stievamycin so talk to your docter about it.' Hope I helped!
  3. I'm a white woman, but my best friends since middle school was a black guy & he had some bad zits before he started washing his face, using toner & moisturizing every morning & every evening. 1) Alba Botanica Sea Mineral Cleansing Gel 2) Use a cotton circle to apply witch hazel (a natural astringent, will draw out impurities) 3) Aveeno's Positively Radiant w/ SPF 15 (even if you're black, using SPF on your face is a good idea for preventing long term damage of your face) 4) Use Alba Botanica-Sea Enzyme Facial Scrub one to two times per week to exfoliate. ALWAYS MOISTURIZE! When you dont use a facial moisturizer, your skin will decide it needs to get the job done by using it's own natural oils, which can cause more blemishes. Never skip the moisturizing step... that's what my friend Mason says, & he's pretty as can be.
