Acne Skin Care

How can I get rid of body acne?

I asked a question about what I've got on my legs (mostly above the knees) and arms (mostly forearm, some on my upper arms) and I was told by many people that it sounds like body acne. Not zits or anything like that, just small, pencil-tip sized raised bumps in these areas. My question is - what is a good way to get rid of it? I don't really care what it looks like so much, but I have to say it is very annoying trying to shave my legs where all of that is, and it hurts. Has anyone else ever dealt with this? Was there anything you found that worked best? Thanks so much for any help! =) I've tried the scrubs and everything, and nothing works. I've had this problem for about a year now, and I have tried many things. Just hoping that someone else has possibly found a way to help it.

  1. take non deoderize shaving cream and rub it where the acne is. what is does is open up your pores. while the shaving cream still on. take pure alchol and a rag and put alchol on it and rub where the acne is. what it does it will kill the bacteria and get the dirt out. I hope works for you as it for me.
  2. It's not acne - it's likely Keratosis pilaris Keratosis pilaris occurs as excess keratin, a natural protein in the skin, accumulates within the hair follicles forming hard plugs - goose bump appearance - Since we can't 'see' what is really wrong bring it up the next time you need to be at the MD. I am sure a lufa and some great scrub can help. Such as Vaseline (brand) cocoa gel (clear bottle brown top)
  3. You should consider an overall approach to treating acne such as the natural acne cure.
