Acne Skin Care

Acne care products. I've tried alot.?

I normally don't get alot of acne but the past month or two I've been getting so much acne! I made a comment to my friend and hes like no you dont. I have small little pimples on my forehead mainly. I've use Clearasil, Saint Ives, and Neutrogena. They dry out my face really bad and leave it red and ichy. I used face cream after it too! I don't know what to try and Proactive costs too much. Will drinking alot of water help my skin. I wash my face 2 times per day with a mild cleanser. What product do you suggest? I'd really like my skin to be clear in time for semi formal Its common for teenagers to get acne! duh

  6. It is true that eating healthily and drinking plenty of water can keep your skin looking good. However, teenage acne is usually hormone-related and may not be treatable with just diet alone. Other than continuing to try new products (give each one at least a week or two before you decide it's not working), you can try asking your doctor about both over-the-counter and prescription remedies. Antibiotic and other pills and creams may be prescribed for severe acne, and your doctor may be able to recommend some different products or techniques (such as using a soft, microfiber type cloth or your fingers to wash your face rather than a rough washcloth) that will help you out without costing a lot. Some medications, such as birth control pills (which did wonders for my skin), may also be covered by insurance. A mild cleanser does sound like the best product type for you to avoid irritating the skin. I like the Neutrogena that's creamy and comes in a blue tub, it tingles and leaves my skin feeling both clean and moisturized. If all else fails for the semi-formal, try using anti-redness eyedrops on any problem spots (there are also skin products that do the same thing) to reduce swelling and visibility, or just invest in a little concealer if you're still worried. Remember you're still beautiful!
  7. If you live in united states Walmart has a proactive alternative. Yes, and if you drink water it will help inprove the dryness in your skin. If your body doesnot have enough water it slows all processes in your body including: digestion, thought process, and regeneration of skin cells.

  9. don't use proactive its a waste of money and if you ask me it makes them way worse than they were to begin with. Also washing your face too much can cause more acne, I read it in some magazine. But eating good food and drinking water, but not too much cause you could die like some lady in a water drinking competition...don't ask. But yeah try clearasil ultra it works for me, also at walmart they have some for sensitive skin, just read the bottles.
  10. here's a link to some I found on ebay
