- I have the same problem myself. The best thing to do if you ahve really oily skin to buy an exfolianting wash. Use this in the morning before school and at night before you go to bed. Follow the wash with a toner. For extra oily skin, I use a toner and then follow that up with witch hazel or generic alcohol. Below are some links to different products that will work for you. And remember to drink lots of water.
- As you probably know already there is no cure for acne. So maybe you should tell your mother to take you to go see a dermatologist, and he/she can tell you maybe what is the cause of your acne or subscribe you a prescription for anti-acne medication. Myth- eating greasy food causes acne. Fact-washing your face to much makes your skin more oily.
- go down to your local chemist and ask to see their products for getting rid of acne choose which one you think is best and try it out!!! Good Luck!!!
- Acne isn't caused solely by oily skin. It's cause by bacteria in your pores, the oil just happens to trap it in your skin. Best thing to do is see a doctor and get treatment. Make sure the idiot doesn't prescribe something with steroids in it. If you want over the counter prevention it takes a routine. Every morning wash your face with a mild soap (no antibacterial junk), then treat your skin with an astringent that doesn't make your skin peel. Whether you wear makeup or not be sure to do the same thing before you go to bed. Just before going to bed, be sure to put some sort of non oily face cream on your face. If it's not a genetic thing you inherited from your family, then it will pass once you reach a certain age. Otherwise, your going to be treating your skin for the rest of your life.
- Going to a good dermatologist can completely cure all of you acne, however if that is impossible use an acne face wash like Biore twice a day and put Benzol Peroxide gel on the bumps.
- Try this simple remedy. Wash your face twice a day in warm salty water. This should leave your face oil free without aggravating the acne like soap. The secret of keeping the skin clear is to keep it oil-free and clean. Check out http://useinfo-acne.blogspot.com/ for more useful info.
