Acne Skin Care

acne care?

I have very mild acne, but I want to have completely clear skin. What acne product works ?(only recomment things you've used). I would like it to be quick and refreshing, not like 3-step.

  1. hands down proactiv has kicked major ass for me. sorry its a 3 step but its worth it. drink aloooooooooooot of water & ur skin will clear even more. sorry i got nothin else besides tanning but thats heresay.
  2. Biore Ice Cleanser. It is just a cleanser that feels really cool when you use it and it clears up very mild acne. I use it every day and now my very mild acne is completely gone and I only get one or two small spots every month.
  3. I have to agree that proactiv took affect immediately and relieved the skin on my face quite quickly (about a week's time). It is three step but believe me, it is so completely worth it. good luck! xx. Lauren
  4. I tried everything including proactiv, murad, and all of those other brands you see on TV, as well as pretty much everything in the drugstore too! They didn't work for me and it wasn't until I realized that I was using products that were meant for severe acne, and were too harsh for my mild acne. I now use Mary Kay and it has made a HUGE difference in my skin, even through out my 2nd pregnancy, my skin stayed clear, with my first I totally broke out due to hormones. Anyhow, I use the Deep Cleanser Formula 3, and Blemish Control Toner Formula 3. You need a moisturizer, and it really depends on your age and skin type as to which one to choose. I am 26 so I use TimeWise Age-Fighting Moisturizer: Combination-to-Oily Formula since I want to fight the wrinkles before they start!! Now, I know you say you do not want a 3 step system, but honestly, for the best results you really need 3 steps. I learnt this from a lot of research as well as in make up artistry (you learn about skin care as well.) Cleanse, tone and moisturize! Mary Kay can be pricey, but you can get it on eBay for half price ;) Hope this helps!! Erin http://www.myhairstylingtools.com
  5. What the skin needs is a product that clears pores and kills bacteria, thus preventing hair follicles from clogging and turning into acne. This is what you should be looking for if you want to get rid of those ugly acne. Before trying any treatment, I suggest you read this informational source that listed the most effective acne treatments available: http://www.17acnetreatments.com P.S. I also know someone who used to suffer from severe acne for 14 YEARS and finally got rid of it completely. She's sharing her story at her site: http://20six.co.uk/my-acne-solution Maybe you could learn from her inspirational story .
  6. # You shouldn’t squeeze, pick, scratch, or rub your skin as it makes the problem worse, and it might even cause scarring. # Regularly shampoo your hair, and try to keep it off your face if possible - especially at night. # Keep a food diary to work out if you are one of the few people whose acne gets worse if they eat certain things. # Exercise regularly to get the old blood flowing, and make sure you get a wash as soon after as possible. # Avoid unnecessarily touching your face. # If possible, try to minimize your stress levels. # Avoid getting sunburned. # Change your wash cloth every day, as bacteria can grow on damp cloth. # Wash your face twice a day with a gentle soap like Dove or Lever 2000. # Always rinse really well with lots of water. # Only wear makeup on special occasions, and then make sure you remove it completely. # Granular facial scrub can make acne worse by aggravating the skin
