I went to a derm. about 2 years ago and had tried some other creams but nothing has worked. Does the second round of accutane cure acne forever? I was 16, had some bad acne, so i took accutane and it worked 100% after the cycle all acne was gone. But about 6 months later it came back, so now im on it again. After this cycle will my acne be gone forever?????? Is there any cure to Back acne and marks in teens? Hey, I am not normally the person to talk about my problems, but I feel that I have exhausted all options. I have had bad Back acne for 3 years now and I am now 17. After 3 years of Back acne there are extremely noticeable marks on my body from it as well. I have hidden it until now, which has been a difficult task, as I played Australian football for 2 years, and decided to quit because of this. As a combo I also have Dermatagraphia (skin Writing Disease)which I have also hidden from everyone even my parents until now. I am unable to go to my parents about because they haven’t had anything like this, and I’ll feel bad because they won’t know what to do, it will feel like I have let them down too, to say that something like this makes me so weak. I have used almost all commercial products for my back, and have found little to no results in any. I also read about the vinegar and tea tree oil method, but it seemed to only anger my back..I am a clean person and shower twice a day, making sure my back is cleaned well. For my scars I have used, Aloe Vera, Bio Oil, Vitamin E creams, etc.. I herd that people have found a quick but risky cure, by getting a really heavy sun burn on their affected areas and letting the skin peal apparently leaving smooth mark free skin, not sure how successful this is though. If you have made it this far in my questions thank you, my main reason for asking this, is that my girlfriend is thinking about trying some new things, and I don’t feel as though I am good enough for her because of this.. I know this sounds pathetic. If anyone has any idea of how I can remove these scars and present back acne please share if possible. Thank you.
I have severe Cystic acne is there a cheap cure or home remedy I can do? I am 29 yrs old female? Does anyone know a cure that works for Adult Acne? I have tried a few things and would use what a doctor can give me as a last resort really, I've tried Witch Hazel and Tea Tree Oil along with different face and body washes. Why do steroids and antibiotics seem to cure acne on me.? I've spent 18 years, washing and lotioning my face and back so its not embarrasing and have noticed after getting into some poison oak a few years ago that the steroid they give for that completely remedied every pimple on my body, then later I got bronchitis, they gave me an antibiotic completely cured within two days, stayed cured until I stopped. So is acne an alergic reaction? Is there some way to find what it is your alergic to? I eat fair, work out, wash twice a day, currently using proactive because I needed something less drying and instead of soap I use the Nuetrogena body wash with sycllic acid. Sorry about the spelling. Any suggestions, or explanations would be appreciated.
acne/body hair problem help? I am an 18 year old female with acne and excess body hair problems. I would think that by now, my acne would have cleared up, but no. I have been on four types of acne medication (salicylic acid wash, benzoyl peroxide wash, antibiotics, and clyndamycin gel) for 4 months counting, but I keep breaking out. I also seem to have an excess amount of body hair (face, back, chest, arms, legs, thighs, part of the neck, etc) I think the acne and hair are due to high levels of testosterone in my system, which would mean that I will continue to keep breaking out and stay hairy(even if I wax, shave, etc). Are there cures for this? Will this pass and will I become less hairy/ full of acne as I become older? I am embarrased to visit a doctor for this, so is there a permanent home cure, or will medication perscribed by the doctor be my best bet? Will I break out and stay this hairy until death? Please help! I am desperate. Any suggestions/answers are greatly appreciated!!!
How can I cure acne on my behind? I am 23 years old, and I've been dealing with this on and off since puberty, although I never had a problem with acne anywhere else on my body but my buttocks. I shower daily, using an exfoliating scrub, and only wear comfy cotton panties. My pants are not particularly tight. I don't have oily skin- it's actually very normal, sometimes on the dry side. Like I said, I have very soft, clear skin everywhere else. These bumps usually start out small and red and typically disappear on their own, but they occasionally grow into painfully large cysts under the skin that make it hard to sit down properly. They never form a head...and I don't touch or pick at them, because I don't want to make it worse. In the unlikely case that one has opened, there is never solid material that comes out- just clear or yellowish fluid and LOTS of blood. I don't have health insurance, so I can't see a dermatologist. Any tried and true over-the-counter or home-made treatments? Thank you!

How can I cure my tough acne? I really don't have that many pimples, but the ones I do have are impossible to get rid of! Also, I have an oily complexion. My main problem isn't actual acne, it's that I have all these little red marks on my left behind from my zits that won't go away! I know it sounds, bad, but it's really not. I just can never get the silky smooth face that basically everyone else I know has. I have tried numerous prescription an over-the-counter products, which include: Differin (prescription topical) Benzaclin (prescription topical) Metro Gel (prescription topical--which actually made me worse!) Duac (prescription pill) Bactrim (prescription pill) Proactive Oxy products Clearasil Neutrogena wave cleanser Noxema Everything I have used either had no effect at all, or it worked for a while then stopped. Right now I am regularly using Oxy pads and Spot Treatment, Neutrogena Grapefruit Body Wash, and Neutrogena wave. It works to keep my acne under control, but doesn't get rid of it completely. Does anyone know a way to treat and cure my acne and get the silky smooth skin I want to have? I thought this went without saying, considering the fact that I said I have used perscriptions, but yes, I do see a dermatologist. I mean, where else can you get prescriptions for acne medicine but a dermatologist?

Is there a more natural cure for acne? I've recently been told about Agust Castus (or chaste-tree) or Vitex, an extract with more common applications to balancing hormone levels during the menstrual cycle. But can help balance hormone levels during puberty. i tried doing some research and i found: The biggest hormone affectors were androgens e.g. testosterone which are known to increase sebum production and thus can lead excessive cultures of skin bacteria in pores. These bacteria release agants which are inflammitory and will attract an immune responce leading to redness and swelling in affected areas, thus acne symptoms. Agnus castus contains compounds 'deterpens' which act on the D2 receptors causing a responce (guessing increased dopamine production) this inturn supresses levels of prolactin production in the body. I don't understand what effects decreased prolactin levels would have on the enocrine system as a whole and whether this could effect androgens. Vitex does also act as an anapradisiac. Can u help? I have now noted that it is'nt just testosterone but more notably DHT (dihydrotestosterone) which is more receptive to androgen receptors. Thus more likely to attribute to excessive sebum production. DHT production is apparently high during the process of 'ejaculation'. Where it is converted from testosterone. Still sketchy on the actual dynamics. It is possible to link the anaphradisiacal qualities of Vitex/Angust castus to the lessened production of DHT due to loss of 'Libido' or sexual drive. Tho this could just be clutching at straws. What do you think?
Hives on my body and Acne on my back? Well, I had hives for about 4 weeks and for some reason on my legs its always itchy and then I sometimes get them on my hands I dont feel a thing, Just I see weird white bumps (lil bit itchy). As for the Acne I have alot of it on my back like on the top and its barely itchy but when I take my shirt off its itching like insanely. I just need a cure for both of these to stop the pain! The hives also dissappear like after 20 or 10 minutes then come back again on another part of my body, as like a rash on my legs.

I'm a 27/f who needs a natural cure for acne. I'm healthy,not on meds,eat organic foods,& have done cleanses! It's been a struggle since I was 12. Nobody else in my family has this problem. I had it SOMEWHAT under control when I was on birth control. But I don't want to be on that anymore, it makes me fat and depressed. So, are there any natural cures that might manipulate that "special" hormone that helps acne? Help!!! If acne is caused by a certain hormone, why hasn't a vaccine been created to cure it? Is there a certain hormone or chemical in the body that causes breakouts? If breakouts are caused by a simple hormone, couldn't a shot be created that would change that? Is there a reason that has not been done? Is it more complicated than that? If I I were a scientist I would create one so I could become rich.
