Does anyone have a cure for baby acne or a medicine that your pediatrician prescribed for the baby? My baby is 4 weeks old and it is on her face and neck.

My 3 wk old baby has red like pimples on his face, maybe baby acne, how can i cure them? I thought it was heat rash, but they don't go away , he has had them for about a week now

How will I cure my baby's rashes on his face? My baby is now 4 month old and he has this red rashes on his face.His pedia said that its a baby acne and will be gone after few weeks.He said this when my baby was still a month old.Now he is 4 months and still his rashes didn't go away.I can't wait to see my baby's smooth face again.How can I at least help my baby cure these rashes?

How should I treat baby acne? This is my second baby and he's only 2 weeks old. I know you can't cure it and I hear that babies get it from their mother's hormones. I would like to know if there is some way to get rid of it faster or anything special I should be doing for them.

Baby Acne causes and cures? what are some of the causes and any remedies to get rid of it. It just started to show up since I have had to feed her formula cause of a reaction to antibiotics in my milk, that I am taking for a infection. She had to be switched between 3 diffrent formulas and now is on the Simalac Alimentum Advanced. She is doing well on it but the Acne and pimples are getting more. am using Dreft soap for babies. The Ped. told me its the most hypo allergenic and softest of all soaps.

acne and baby loation? i was told that if i used a bar soap and moisturize on my face with Johnson baby lotion it will cure my acne will this work??

Pregnancy Acne -- Anyone have a cure for this? Please someone offer me some advice or a miracle cure. I'm about 21 weeks pregnant and my pregnancy acne is getting worse, not better. I don't know what to do anymore. I don't want to use a product that will harm the baby but the pimples are now starting to hurt me -- they feel like cold sores all over my chin. I've tried products with sylicalic acid but that's not helping anymore. Do you guys think Proactive (benzoyle peroxide) is ok to use?

Still having Acne after baby was born...? I am 22 years old. My husband and I had a duaghter in December and I got terrible acne while I was pregnant. It still has not gone away and she is 8 months old now! Can anyone recommend any products that worked for them? I have tried Proactive, Neutrogena, Birth Control and Natures Cure... I'm at my wits end I'm 22 and I look like a 15 year old with skin problems. :( Thanks.

my bff has been using some pretty scary pills to cure her acne? my friend has had really bad acne all of her life.shes 28 now and its still bad.shes tried proactive and all kinds of acne medicine.shes now on this pill thats side effects include:liver and kidney damage,brittle bones(she could break a bone extremely easy),increased brain pressure,dry skin/lips,etc,etc......she could die from this....she also took chantix(the most recent recalled drug).if she were to concieve a baby the babys skull would be deformed and have holes in it....all because of an acne medicine. im just worried about her.i am the type of person who is very weary of perscription drugs and likes to find natural remedies.would it wrong of me to buy her some top of the line great working NATURAL acne remedies?ive never had acne like she has had,but i do get breakouts.i use natural creams and cleansers and it clears it up really well. im kind of thinking of maybe getting her an all natural topical acne remedy for her birthday....would that be too invasive? would it be wrong of me tosend her information about certain natural topical products?

acne prone skin, looking for a cure? my skin isn't really oily. it gets tight when i wash it so i put on an oil free moisturizer with spf 15. That gets absorbed fast and my face feels tight again. as the day goes on, my face gets oily and red. i used to put baby powder on my face which worked pretty well, but stopped when i heard it could cause lung cancer and when i asked a question here, i found out it was bad for your skin. do you have any advice for that? home cures especially! i've tried too many acne products and don't want to spend a lot anymore.

ANCE CURE! if you have acne problems then you really need to read this? so ive been reading about home remedies for acne because i have minor breakouts and i found one! Its called Apple Cider Vinegar(ACV). You can either drink it or apply it to the acne. I tried the external way and applied it to my skin and my skin feels so silky smooth and a great reduce in oil! I had the oiliest skin anyone could have, but every since i started putting ACV on my face i barely have any shine and i feel fresh all day! It also fades blemishes! If you dont believe me then google it baby! lol but if you want to try it then mix 2 cups of water with 1/4 cups of Apple Cider Vinegar (which you can get at any store). There will be alot left over so just store it somewhere. I use it as a toner. But anyways its great! try it

What do you do with your extra breastmilk? So... knowing that breastmilk is filled with all kinds of goodies, what have you done with your extra milk? Eg.. Cures cuts, and acne... Soothes sore nipples... etc. Just for fun, I'm curious! I'm telling my husband all the things you can do with breastmilk besides feeding baby ;) Post links if you have them! :) Donating is a great idea! For those lucky mum's who have the extra milk, and the babies who desperately need it. Awesome.

BAD breakout..? my son never had a diaper rash problem, now hes got pimples BAD on his butt. Ive tried putting anitbiotic ointment ( didnt sound like a cure for acne to me ) and baby powder.It will not go away. It actually seems to be getting worse, so Im not using anything.I think I might cut the baby wipes off and see if that works but has anyone had this with thier kids? None of my friends ever had this problem with theirs the only wipes ive ever used are the pampers sensitive..how much better can you get ?

Pimple breakout after birth? It's been a couple of months now since my wife gave birth. However, she's been getting pimples / acne breakout on her face, we're guessing mainly from stress and lack of sleep as she breastfeeds the baby. What can we do to heal or cure the breakout?

I'm taking 800% more vitamin A than I'm supposed to. Is this dangerous? I'm doing this because I'm 22 now and realized my severe cystic acne isn't going to go away on it's own and so I have decided to take drastic measures. Accutane is just a synthetic form of vitamin A. The good thing is that I've had no side effects even though I'm taking so much. I don't even have chapped lips. My skin's still oily but not as much as before. Results have been good, but my skin's still far from completely clear. I started about 2 weeks ago. What's the difference between Accutane (Isotretinoin) and vitamin A? Why can't I just take vitamin A? And if I keep this up, but later end my treatment when I'm cured, and then get pregnant, could I give birth to a baby with a birth defect, even if I get pregnant months or years away from end of treatment?

What other uses have you discovered for breast milk? I think it's a given that breastmilk provides nutrition for babies, but we have also discovered it works as a miracle facial treatment for everything from dark circles, acne, and even wrinkles! I'm loving it! I've read it also can cure sinus infections, burns, cuts, and eye infections. Have you discovered any other uses not listed above? (I might have ot keep nursing for 20 years....don't want to give up my new facial cream...lol) No, I'm not joking! I'm discovering that breast milk is a wonderful cure all.

How to get rid of pimples, quickly and permanently!!??? Freshmen year i had the WORST acne then i started using benzaclin in the morning and differin at night [prescribed by doctor] and it worked...kinda my acne has never returned to what it used to be but i still constantly have it just to a milder degree i'm glad its better but even if i'm not "breaking out" my face has all those tiny little redish baby pimples or SOMETHING what can i do to just make it go away!!!!!!!!! and any quick cures for the more annoying zits i can't use any extra acne treatment stuff in addition to my prescriptions [anything w/ salcylic acid...etc...] only general cleanser astringents that don't have specific acne stuff in them
