Does anyone know a cure that works for Adult Acne? I have tried a few things and would use what a doctor can give me as a last resort really, I've tried Witch Hazel and Tea Tree Oil along with different face and body washes. Thanks all for the nice and sensible answers, I will try some of them out, i am only 25 and they have come up in the last few months really. More than I can say for someone, you know who you are. Poey your answer was most inappropriate.

Cure for Rosacea- adult acne? I have tried Metro gel, Finacea and Proactive, I am going to my doctor Tues. any ideas, perscription or over the counter? thanks
Has anything cured your adult acne? I never had acne until I was 19 or 20. It occurs just around the jawline and on my forehead. These two characteristics are true mostly of a specific kind of acne called "adult acne" which seems to be harder to control. I don't care that I have some marks on my face but I am in pain when I get cystic knots around my jaw. Has anything worked for anyone out there? I am using Proactiv now and it helps with appearance but not so much with the pain. I have also been on birth control and that did clear it up but it always caused too many other side affects for me to continue using no matter what kind it was.

Is Brewer's Yeast a good vitamin treatment for acne? My grandmother insists that this is the ultimate cure. I have been taking some, but don't see a result. Is this a futile attempt to get rid of adult acne? It's not very severe. What is this vitamin generally good for? My tongue peels on a regular basis - I still don't know why - but it's helped that a lot.
Severe adult acne!!!? I am 23 have had severe acne for the last year. This is what I already do and have tried, so if anyone has any other advise please let me know. I have tried benzaclin, proactive, murad, bosia, etc... I have tried natural products and cures I take omega 3 supplaments and zinc and a multi wt vit A I am a vegetarian , I do not eat alot of processed foods, sugar or soda. My diet and/or lifestyle has not changed in the last year I always drink lots of water(bottled, smart water, figi) I try to ONLY eat organic food.
Has anyone naturally & successfully gottren rid of their adult acne? I have had acne for 18 years - it started when I was about 10 and has never gone away. I've tried almost everything from A-Z. Doctors have prescribed me antibiotics which I do not wish to take long term, and given me creams that make my skin burn & peel. I have tried almost everything they sell on TV and everything you can buy over the counter. If anyone has NATURALLY and SUCCESSFULLY gotten rid of, reduced or controlled their acne, I would love to hear about it. I am not interested in buying any more 'cures'. They do not work. I am interested in natural ways to reduce my acne at home; without doctors, pills, skin burning creams, monthly shipments of cleansers that do not work, or ridiculous books that claim you can clear it up in 3 days by eating only one food then giving yourself and enema (YUCK!). I am looking for supplements, techniques, foods, etc. - a long term way, a way to actually make it better. I hope there is someone out there who has figured it out! I did try proactiv and didn't have any luck with that. My acne is considered moderate to severe. The only thing I have ever found that helps is Neutrogena's acne washes, and that only keeps it from getting to the severe level. I also have very good personal hygiene and am quite healthy. Thanks for the answers so far, but not quite what I am looking for yet.

The Dietary Cure for Acne? Has anyone tried reading and following the book yet? Is it any good/helpful? Is the book only based for adults or can teenagers follow it too? I'm thinking about buying it as my skin is absolutely horrible but I'm low on cash so I wanna know that I'm making an informed decision. If anyone's passing through and has any general advice please feel free to leave some, highly appreciated. Acne/Oily skin remedy for adult female? I'm an adult and for the past 3 years have had really oily skin and have constant break outs. Sometimes they are painful! I've been to the dermotologist. I've had all sorts of medicines prescribed, Retinol, benzol, antibiotics.....and more. He can't give me an answer or cure. I feel as if I'm going through puberty. I eat healthy, no caffine, water water water. I've even tried home remidies. NOTHING works. I'm hoping I can get an answer from someone. PS OVER the couner meds DO NOT work for me. Don't bother recommending! cetaphil, or clearisel neutrogema does not work
Can anyone help with acne skin problems? OK, so I'm 23 and have the skin of a 13 year old (in a bad way! haha!) It's not massively greasy, and that's not a worry either way, but I get a LOT of spots, I guess it classes as adult acne. I get huge spots that erupt on my forehead and chin along with medium spots, tiny, rash like spots and the ubiquitous blackheads. This doesn't happen at any particular time of the month/when I'm stressed etc, it just happens all the time! I spend a fortune on skincare and nothing, thus far, has helped. I'm getting to the end of my tether and am thinking of trying light laser therapy to get rid! So my question is, has anyone found a miracle cure/something that's worked very well for them; or have you had laser therapy and can comment on the effectiveness of that? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Makeup and oily skin......? ~ Looking for eyeshadow that will stay on for at least half a day! Any suggestions for oily skin ladies out there? (swear I tried every brand) ~ Also looking for a good cure for adult acne - I will try anything a few times.
Accutane Experiences for Adult Males? I am a 27 year old male, and I had severe acne starting age age 15. Facial acne isn't really too bad, but I have very consistent cystic acne on my neck, back, ass, thighs, and chest. For accutane users, what has your post-accutane experience been like? I am sure that it cures acne while you are on it, but I don't want to go through the hassle of the treatment program if within 6 months it was like I was never on it. Also, any tips on dealing with it?
DO YOU SUFFER FROM ACNE / OILY SKIN ? This may help !!? All her adult life my wife has suffered from acne. She had tried every known remedy out there, and even been prescribed medication by the doctor, but nothing ever works. That was until we came across something on ebay, which we only describe as a miracle cure. It is a volcanic ash which you make into a face pack. Anyway, we wanted to let other acne sufferers know about it so here is the link, and it doesn't matter if you don't have an ebay account either, the seller will allow you to send payment by post: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=013&item=230024410660&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&rd=1
rash on adult butt...? i have had a rash on my butt for a long time now, a year almost. It was never really bad untill now it has gotten worse and it is rather embarrassing. It looks like acne on my butt, it doesn't itch. What could it be?? and how do i cure it fast?
Acne problem..help!? I don't have oily or dry skin and I've always had a few breakouts here and there. But, ever since my graduation it's been REALLY bad. I think I was allergic to some of my makeup so I switched to organic foundation. I have always used Proactive, I'm on birth control, an anti-biotic, and Retin-A, all prescribed by my doctor. I have a dermatoligist appt. in Sept. but I'm guessing he'll just switch my meds up and nothing will work...again. I'm sick of constantly having this problem with no solution. I believe its the onset of adult ance. I don't want to have this problem, especially now that I'm beginning college. Has anyone with this problem cured it with something besides what I'm doing? Anti-biotic: Bactrin Birth Control: Trinessa I've tried: Seasonique, and another one that begins with a 'V'. Sorry, I don't remember.
