What is the most effective acne treatment with NO regard to cost. Laser surgery, Microdermabrasion, anything? I am not worried about the cost and I have recently set up a consultation with a cosmetic physician to see what they can offers for treatment. I am just looking to see what other information I can gather, the searches seem to be cluttered with ads for products like pro-active and other medications that I are of little interest to me. Some people say Accutane is the best, but it seems that is the may be the best medication and not the best treatment. I may have asked in the wrong place, although I appreciate the fast responses. I am looking for scientifically proven remedy's not so much homemade solutions. Pain and negative side effects are only a small consideration. I am more interested in surgical solutions, but I will look into the recommended products.

Cost to repair acne scars? I had acne earlier in life and now I want to get some of the scars removed on my face. I have one large recessed scar on my left cheek (approximately 2-3mm) that I would like repaired. I also have about 5-6 small recessed scars on both cheeks. There is a some discoloration on my forehead from scars, but no recession, just discoloration. Lastly, i have some scars around my mouth from impetigo as a kid. The only scar that's really noticeable to anyone besides myself, is the one on my left cheek. I am thinking I'll need a punch graft for my left cheek and just punches for the smaller ones. I don't know what all would be required though. I don't expect perfection, but I would like to have a face with no noticeable scars. Fraxel or C02 Laser for Acne Scars? I have depressed and icepik acne scars. Although I have fair skin and they are not visible unless up close, They really bother me.
