Can acne scar laser surgery really be THIS effective? This is a question for those who have had acne scar laser surgery. Can it really get rid of almost every single red mark that well? I have one red mark similar to that guy and would do anything to remove it, or at least make it tiny. can the surgery be done to only remove one mark, or do you have to have tons?
Is laser treatment good for acne scar removal? My girlfriend is considering getting pixel laser treatment to remove some minor acne scarring that she has on her face. I don't know much about it and I would like to know more before she signs up for the treatment. What about the side affects? I have read that your face looks very burned afterwards.
Acne scar laser treatment? I don't think I have that many acne scars, maybe a few but they are not that dark. Some of them have begun to fade away already (thanks to a bleaching agent given to me by my dermatologist). Well, but when I went to my dermatologist today his employees (probably nurses) kept telling me that I had too many dark scars and that my skin was deeply blemished. I didn't think that was the case but they seemed to have dramatized my condition. Anyhow, they convinced me to go through a treatment called Erbium laser treatment, but I'm not sure if I should go through so much pain and a long recovery period just for moderate facial imperfections. All I want to do is heal the acne scars, not resurfacing or sanding the face. Anyone who is EXPERIENCED enough to give me advice? thanks very much.
laser clinical scar removal for acne? I have terrible acne scars, i'm almost 21 and i am not happy. I have it worst on my nose - my nose is already big, and the scaring isn't just red, it's lumpy dead scar tissue. It makes my nose look bigger and nasty. The thing is i never popped them - they would just get so big they would break on their own. Anyways, i want to get rid of these and my doctor said that laser removal would be the only option for my scars. Has anyone done it? Does it work? Any draw backs ?

Acne scar removal by laser treatment 2008? I've had a lot of acne in the past for a lot of years. Fortunately, it was very superficial. Now, in the middle of the cheeks, I have very very minimal (barely visible) scars, and the pores in my nose seem to have became bigger. I would like to get rid of the scars completely, or make them even less visible, and to make the pores in my nose smaller. I know new improved lasers appear on the market frequently, and I would like to know which one would be the correct one for this condition along with which results can be achieved as to 2008. I am asking for laser treatments. Fading creams and that type of stuff don't seem to really work for me.

Has anyone had laser treatment for acne scars? I currently have very smooth, spot-free skin, but left over scars from previous spots. It is really depressing. Looking at websites, they are definitely not the worst scars in the world - very small, about 5 on each cheek, but dark red / purple. Have any of you ever had laser treatment for acne scars or do you know anything about it??? I'm 23 and I've had body acne on my back since I hit puberty. It's pretty bad and I absolutly hate it!!! I can't wear shirts with open back, unless I cover it with make-up and keep my hair down. Most of the scars are on my lower back. Recently, I've been using Neutrogena Body Clear Body Scrub and it helps a bit, but it won't take away the scars. I also use cocoa butter sometimes on my back, but I know that it won't solve the major scars. I've been doing some research and I've come to the conclusion that the only way to solve this problem is to get laser treatment for scar removal. I know it's expensive, but I'm gonna have to charge it and make payments for a while. But this is soooooo important to me, that it will be worth it...I hope! This is the onle thing I wish I could change about myself! So, what do you know about laser scar removal treatments? How well does it work? What is the price range? How often do you think I will have to go? Does it cause any pain? Side effects?

Has anybody had fraxel laser treatments for scars that are NOT acne-related? I have a few scars that I really want to have revised. I went to a dermatologist/surgeon today and she suggested fraxel laser treatments. After I came home, I did a quick search on fraxel lasers and it seems like they're mostly used to treat acne scars. I was wondering if anybody has had experience with this treatment on non-acne scarring (scars from cuts or accidents)? If so, what kind of results did you end up seeing? I know that nothing can make a scar go away completely, but I'm hoping that I can find something that might deliver decent results? Thanks in advance for your answers.

What age do i have to be for acne scar removal? I am nearly 17 and have had acne for 6 years which has left me with hideous scars all over my face. Fraxel or C02 Laser for Acne Scars? I have depressed and icepik acne scars. Although I have fair skin and they are not visible unless up close, They really bother me. My first dermatologist recommended thermage but I was dubious and after much research, I found out it was for redness and sun damage, not acne scars. Laser treatment for acne scars? I want to get laser treatment on my acne scars because they've been there for almost a year now, and I'm sick of them. I'm got a job starting in April, so I want to look good and give good first impressions... so I really want to get rid of these scars QUICK... so I feel like lasers are my only choice. Some of the scars a craters, but they aren't really deep. It's mostly the redness that bothers me. I plan on visiting a place where they do these treatments soon, but I want to have some background information before going. So, what kind of lasers are out there? Is there anything out there that'll give me quick results? like in a few weeks or a month or so? (I don't mind the pricing) Thanks =)

Has anyone tried NLite laser treatment for acne scars? I had some old acne scars zapped with an NLite laser yesterday. The doctor at the clinic said that the laser would leave marks like a small bruise, but this should clear up within a week or so. Well, today the marks are a hideous purple. I look like a swarm of bees has attacked my chin and forehead. Has anyone tried NLite laser treatment before? If so, do you know how much longer is it going to be like this? I'm just a bit worried as I am going away somewhere hot in a couple of days, and I don't think my foundation / concealer is going to hide the marks very effectively. Thanks!

Well my husband has very bad acne scars and some pimples though he is in his 30's we have came to the conclusion to go through some kind of laser treatment to smooth out his skin..I was wondering how well do they work..price ranges..and if anyone had actual experience..and also do you have to keep going back for more treatments? If you can recommend anyone that would be great we live in Los Angeles, CA. he has been on meds for the acne for over 10 years and it has helped but it does not fix the scars...

Has anyone had Smoothbeam laser done fo acne scars? Hi I was wondering if anyone ever had the Smoothbeam done for acne scars, and if it worked? Please only answer if you went through w/the whole process (not just one or two sessions). Many people give up after one time and then they come on here to rant and rave about how horrible it is b/c it doesnt work- but the recommended procedure is at least 4-5 sessions to see results. I am hopeful :) Anyhow, I am currently getting the Smoothbeam done for acne scars/ enlarged pores by my dermatologist. I am on my 2nd procedure. I am really antsy about final results. I see very mild ones for now. Please do share your results if anyone out there has had smoothbeam done!!
