How effective is LASER ACNE treatment? I've tried many creams and over the counter products, I've gotten prescription cream from dermatologists, and I even used Proactiv Solution before (which didn't work for me). So, I'm looking into getting laser-acne treatment, which I'm hoping would be my last resort. I have a mild case of acne on my face, nothing severe though. So before getting laser acne treatment, could someone tell me if its effective at all? Like does it completely rid of the acne after the procedure is done? How does it work and how much does it cost? And please, no answers suggesting I use creams or creams they you know of that work. I have been following this type of treatment for a LONG time now, and I am definitely gonna try laser treatment. Also, I'm using laser treatment for my entire face.
Is acne laser treatment advisable if you but acne treatment gel on your face? I've had acne on and off since I was 12 and I am now 19 and still suffering from it. From the age of 13 or 14 i've been using an acne treatment gel called panoxyl gel 5 and only just a week ago the dermatolagist put me on another stronger acne treatment gel called isotrexin. I would love to get acne laser treatment to treat my acne, but I think I heard somewhere that you shouldn't get this type of treatment if you have used acne creams or gels within the past year. is this true? and if there is anyone who has had laser acne treatment, how effective was it and did your acne return? thanks : )

Laser acne treatment....does it work? I'm considering getting laser treatment for my acne and since I'll be spending a huge chunk of my money savings to do it, I want to know if it really works before I go through with it. What is the most effective way to kill acne - laser treatment results?? Accutane already completed...? I had severe acne and completed 2 courses of accutane over a period of 5 years. Now ive been off my second round for about 10 months and the acne is slowly creeping back up on me. I want to stop it before it gets uncontrollable like it was before, and I dont think doctors can even GIVE more than 2 rounds of accutane. I mean my acne wasnt as bad as acne cases can possibly get, but it WAS as stubborn as they get. So in other words dont suggest creams, antibiotics, other topicals... tried them all already. Whats the effectiveness of laser treatment, and how long does it last?? Um i have very good personal hygiene, maybe some people need to work on their rudeness.... ALSO how much can this cost? And how long do the results last?

Pixel laser acne treatment? I'm 25 years old, & have suffered with mild/moderate acne for about 8 to 9 years now. I recently went to see a dermologist at the private clinic in manchester that suggested using a new pixel laser treatment on my acne. Laser Acne treatment, should I? Should I not? I did a search and I know of people have asked similar questions before, but still, I would like to get direct opinions. I have been suffering from acne since I was 12, and until I was 16 the situation was not so unbearable, the pimples focus mainly on my forehead and chin before my monthly period, and they usually heal after my period. However since I started working part time when I was 16, due to stress, and I started to get serious break outs on the other area of my face, and some of them are hard pimples that seems impossible to get away. Every spots that I get leaves deep red colour scaring and now no where in my skins is clear except my eye area. Now I am 20, and the situation still continues, I believe my puberty has far gone and ruled out the cause of imbalance in hormones. During this time I have tried almost every product that I could get from the market, from creme de la mer, SK2..etc, nothing really works. So I am considering laser treatment. Worth it? and How much? btw, I am worry that I would be ashamed by my vanity when if I really go into a hospital and do my treatment.. people are going there to treat their skin cancer or something but I am here to cure my acne?.... this might sounds really stupid but my skin is giving me emotional distress and really lowered my confidence... This is so contradiction anyway I am just moaning..
Has anyone had laser treatment for acne scars? I currently have very smooth, spot-free skin, but left over scars from previous spots. It is really depressing. Looking at websites, they are definitely not the worst scars in the world - very small, about 5 on each cheek, but dark red / purple. laser acne treatment? It does exist lol but i'm not sure. I once read an advert in teen vouge with a handheld laser which removes acne in somthing like 74 hours. I don't want to go anywhere to get it done because then they'd come back again and i'd want somthing i can use regularily for small spots, and i think the treatment that they do is for people who have a lot of it and just need it all gone. i think it might help get rid of cuts too but i'm not sure. How safe is laser technique for acne treatment??? Please suggest me whether I should go for laser treatment or not. Because in any clinic which provides this service , they never tell about its side effects or its demerits. I am confused. I have this problem of acne since last 5 years and I am under mediacation throughout this period. Although I have changed doctors but still it doesn't show any improvement.Almost everything I have tried and given its due time to show its effects. But nothing has worked so far. Have any of you ever had laser treatment for acne scars or do you know anything about it??? I'm 23 and I've had body acne on my back since I hit puberty. It's pretty bad and I absolutly hate it!!! I can't wear shirts with open back, unless I cover it with make-up and keep my hair down. Most of the scars are on my lower back. Recently, I've been using Neutrogena Body Clear Body Scrub and it helps a bit, but it won't take away the scars. I also use cocoa butter sometimes on my back, but I know that it won't solve the major scars. I've been doing some research and I've come to the conclusion that the only way to solve this problem is to get laser treatment for scar removal. I know it's expensive, but I'm gonna have to charge it and make payments for a while. But this is soooooo important to me, that it will be worth it...I hope! This is the onle thing I wish I could change about myself! So, what do you know about laser scar removal treatments? How well does it work? What is the price range? How often do you think I will have to go? Does it cause any pain? Side effects?

Acne laser treatment in the UK? I'm a 20 year old female (nearly 21) and I used to get the occasional spots as a teenager but nothing as bad as the last couple of years. And now they have left scarring so I am considering laser treatment. Also, I do wash every day etc. etc. so you don't need to tell me that, but I still get spots so I was hoping laser treatment would work. What I would like to know is, can you get this treatment on the NHS? If you can't then how much is it? I'm willing to pay but obviously I'd prefer if it was free. It's really affecting my self confidence and I'd love to be able to go out without having to wear make up to cover up red blotches :o( Thanks in advance xx
I need advice on an acne laser treatment? I have mild/moderate acne and have been given numerous meds n nothing works so my derm told me to take the pill and also recommended Aesthera Isolaz ...I'm pretty sketchy of both however I was willing 2 try the Isolaz which is photoneumatic treatment but all ive been finding on the internt are a bunch of testimonials and solicitations and no REAL input from people...If anyone has gotten this treatment please respond soon! Does it remove hair? Does the acne return if so how long before it does and @ what intensity...will itr dry out my skin and cause wrinkles? will it worsen acne @ first? How many treatments are typically nec? is $375 2 expensive? also does it leave scars??does it remove scars?? Acne scar laser treatment? I don't think I have that many acne scars, maybe a few but they are not that dark. Some of them have begun to fade away already (thanks to a bleaching agent given to me by my dermatologist). Well, but when I went to my dermatologist today his employees (probably nurses) kept telling me that I had too many dark scars and that my skin was deeply blemished. I didn't think that was the case but they seemed to have dramatized my condition. Anyhow, they convinced me to go through a treatment called Erbium laser treatment, but I'm not sure if I should go through so much pain and a long recovery period just for moderate facial imperfections. All I want to do is heal the acne scars, not resurfacing or sanding the face. Anyone who is EXPERIENCED enough to give me advice? thanks very much.

I'm got a job starting in April, so I want to look good and give good first impressions... so I really want to get rid of these scars QUICK... so I feel like lasers are my only choice. Some of the scars a craters, but they aren't really deep. It's mostly the redness that bothers me. Has anyone tried NLite laser treatment for acne scars? I had some old acne scars zapped with an NLite laser yesterday. The doctor at the clinic said that the laser would leave marks like a small bruise, but this should clear up within a week or so. Well, today the marks are a hideous purple. I look like a swarm of bees has attacked my chin and forehead. Has anyone tried NLite laser treatment before? If so, do you know how much longer is it going to be like this? I'm just a bit worried as I am going away somewhere hot in a couple of days, and I don't think my foundation / concealer is going to hide the marks very effectively. Thanks!

Acne Scars and Laser Treatment? I have acne scars on my face, not many spread over but on my nose I have some significant scars (3-4 pock marks), noticable and ..well I wish they were not there.
