Acne control? I have some problems with acne especially around that time of the month. I thought that acne was a teenage problem, I'm 26 yrs now and its getting to be embrassing. Can u suggest something? I heard proactiv works, does anyone know if this is true or not? And if so do u have to continue using it to control the breakouts? Help! My face got a lot worse after using Clearasil Acne control? I have been using Clearasil Daily Acne control (3 in One Formula) for about three days. I have a realitively clear face, I only usually get on or two pimples when I am premenstrual, and thats it. After using Clearasil, there are MULTIPLE landminds that have exploded all over my face. Is this because it is doing exactly what it says t is, exfoliating my skin and bringing everything to the surface? Will my acne come back if I stop taking birth control? A few years ago, my face went through a phase where it would break out in painful cysts and moderate acne. I tried different acne medications but nothing worked. I went to the doctor and she told me it may be my hormones, so she prescribed me with Yasmin birth control (which helps control acne). About 7 months ago, my doctor prescribed me the birth control pill Marvelon 28, and it cleared up my acne wonderfully. After about 3 months of taking it, I experienced a few unfavourable side effects, so my doctor switched it up and now I'm taking Alesse. I've now been taking Alesse almost 4 months now, and my acne is now coming back. I originally thought it was just me getting my period, but my acne has come back nearly to its original state, and won't go away - the old pimples die, but then new pimples form every day. What's the deal here?
