What is a good skin treatment for dry skin & acne - thats also not to strong for sensitive skin? I have a little bit of acne on my face I really want to get rid of. But I have really seinsitive skin. Everything I try from the store though is either too strong and causes dry skin, redness, irritation,etc or isnt strong enough. Is there anything else I can try? And skin product reccomendations that will actually work? Or any home remedies that are safe for my really sensitive skin?

How do i get my dry skin/acne/peeling to go away? Okay so i have had kinda "bad" acne and ive been using clearasil daily face wash, Ive used Neutrogena face scrub (orange stuff) and Noxema. All of a sudden my skin is really dry on the sides of my mouth The very bottom below my lower lip. The sides of my nose too. Its peeling. Im not uncomftorable with acne. Is bare escentuals foundation good for dry skin with acne? What about mineral veil?

What acne wash and moisturizer should I use for dry/oily skin? I have dry/oily skin with mild acne and I've been using Phisoderm acne wash and St. Ives facial moisturizer. I was told not to use both, Phisoderm because it doesn't really work as well and St. Ives moisturizer because it has mineral oil in it. I would appreciate any suggestions.

Dry Skin/Acne on skin won't go away!!!? This is really annoying... I've had dry skin and acne on my skin for a while now. The acne on my skin isn't very bad but when i touch my skin there its sensitive and it burns/stings. i went to the docotr and he gave me a topical solution that i dab on the infected area but this didn't really help. I've been using cetaphil face wash as a soap for my face and then use the moisturuzer they offer after, but this has only helped a little. Sometimes my skin starts to peel on my forehead and its all flaky. Nothing i've tried has really helped. I was thinking about having my mom order me some proactive solution. It seems like it works well. Any advice is good! Thanks!

dry skin/acne? this doesnt sound very nice but... I ride a bike and the inside of my crash helmet is covered in dead skin. Dry acne-prone skin. Please help. AcneFree? ? I've been struggling with acne since about 7th grade (I'm 18 now). I had horrible back acne which after about 3 years cleared up but "transferred" to my face. I'm in college now, and I just want to get rid of my acne once and for all. I have dry skin... even with my moisturizer my skin can look flaky and sometimes skin around my blemishes starts to peel. I have blackheads everywhere and stubborn whiteheads that typically stay under the skin, even though it's not cystic acne. My face also tends to get red somewhat easily, and I have red marks left behind from previous acne. I'm going to the store today and am thinking about buying AcneFree Severe because it got great reviews, as opposed to the mixed reviews of the regular AcneFree. I'm somewhat hesitant because of my already dry skin and I usually try to stick with more gentle or natural products, although it seems that those haven't been working too well. I know the pads dry my skin out because it has alcohol in it, so I don't use those too often. And I use each acne wash probably wice a week. Does anyone else have experience with extremely dry, acne prone skin? I was on proactive, but it made my skin EXTREMELY DRY. So I stopped using the first step (cleanser) and started washing my face with Neutrogina oil free acne wash because I figured it would be easier on my skin. Now, since I stopped using the proactive cleanser, I get minor breakouts here and there, so I use Clearasil Ultra 10% benzol peroxide as a spot treatment. My face, especially this morning, is extremely flaky and dry. I just bought Clean and Clear Soft Daily Moisturizer with SPF 15 to use at the end of my extreme acne treatment, but that doesn't seem to help much and I end up putting pounds of moisturizers on top. Does anyone have any suggestions of an acne medication that doesn't make your skin dry like proactive? I'm afraid that if I stop using it and if I just stick to my Neutrogina wash and a cleanser, I'll break out again. The last part that says "and a cleanser" was a typo. I meant "and a moisturizer"

Dry skin due to acne products. NEED HELP!? I'm starting to get dry skin from my acne medication. I use an oil free acne wash and I use an oil free acne fighting moisturizer on my face to try to help with the drying, but my skin still seems rather dry. The acne is just starting to go away, and I want to keep at it so it finally just dies and I'll be able to stand on top of Mt. Whatever and exclaim my victory, but I also fear that this excessive drying is going to be damaging my skin like crazy. I have very sensitive skin on my face, so I only use acne products with around 2-3.5% BP or 2% SA. I would like to know if there are any masks I could put on to help moisturize my face or anything of the sort.

dry skin with acne..? i have naturally oily skin which gets more oily throughout the day, along with some acne. however, my dermatoligist recently gave me cetaphil to wash my face with (since my skin is ultra sensitive) and differin to use at night. the differin is drying out my skin soo much that there's no oilyness left at ALL, there are visible flakes, and it burns a little to put on moisturizer. i just got out of the shower, and the instant my skin started drying flakes started appearing all around my cheeks and lip. my point is.. i have extremley extremley dry skin right now, so i really need some advice: what's a really good moisturizer or facial mask that won't clog my pores and will actually work? by the way, i don't have any skin disorder or condition, it's just the acne medication i'm using. and its actually helping my acne, so i dont think its the best idea to get rid of it.. just get a good moisturizer or mask.

I have quite oily skin, and used to get really bad acne, but I found that cutting out moisturiser altogether from my skincare regime actually clared up most of the problem on most of my face, apart from on my forehead. I use a 50% water foundation and even when i put on moisturizer before i put on foundation.. my skin starts to peel. Acne and dry skin woes... help!? I'm almost 30 and I still battle with acne, not terribly, but get the odd zit popping up at the worst possible times. But, I also have dry skin and even have fine lines starting to show on my forehead and near my eyes. If I use moisturizer, I break out. If I treat the acne, I dry out. Acne and dry skin at the same time... I HATE WINTER!? My problems is I break out the most in the winter because my skin is so dry that I struggle to prevent acne. Are there any products that are like overnight Clearisil but designed for really dry skin?

acne and dry skin controll? im 12 and i dont have a super bad case of the zits but you can see a couple pimples and my nose is really red. i tried neutrogena acne controll system but it just made my nose really dry and even more emberassing. can you tell me which acne control system is the best for me. and i also have really dry skin. you can see flakes all over my eyes and forehead. i have tried a million different creams but they dont last long and dont really work. i need one that lasts 24 hrs. and works really good. can you help

I have problems with acne and dry skin at the same time. Any suggestions to get rid of dry skin?? I have some acne on my face and a lot of blackheads covering my nose. I use neutrogena oil free acne wash two times a day but it has little or no effects on my acnes.After i wash my face with neutrogena, my face gets soo dry and the dryness HURT.It pulls my face and it stings at times. I tried some lotion on my face but all it did was plug my pores and cause more blackheads to appear. Its not the pimples that annoy me. Its the dry skin and black heads!How do I reduce or get rid of the dryness and blackheads. Any help with this?? Is it my diet ? Am i not getting enough nutritions?? By the way Im only 14.

VERY dry skin and some acne. help!? I used proactiv for about three days. the third day, my skin turn extremely dry. so, i just stopped using it. I have tried the green tea moisturizer proactriv came with, but i noticed that it only left my skin smooth for an hour or so. I also have neutrogena moisterizer, but that too only works for about an hour, then my skin turns extremely dry again. I have acne-prone skin. Will vaseline help for my dry skin really well without giving me breakouts or more acne? Also, it's pretty hard for me to leave the house without any makeup on. I use a powder for my face, which looks HORRiBLE with my dry skin. In addition, under my eyes, I have really bad dry skin as well. when i put concelor on it, it looks horrible, and without concelor, it looks like i need sleep! lol. SO, will somebody please tell me what to do for extremely dry skin under my eyes and on my face. Thank you so veryvery much. your answers are very much so appreciated!
