What is the best way to get rid of under the skin acne? I'm 19 years old and I am so sick of my acne. I don't get white heads or anything like that. I get pimples that are underneath the skin and are very painful and I have black heads which are annoying. I have tried all sorts of products and none I have found treat for under the skin so if anyone has any advice please help!!!!

Skin, acne open pore info please!!t? In August this year I broke out with major facial acne for the first time aged 23. I started taking oral erythromycin in September but have since stopped due to poor results. About 3/4 weeks ago I started using benzoyl peroxide. Its really sorted out my skin and I've had almost no new acne in this time. Stupid I know but I think I have open pores. I'm not sure if they've always been there as before the acne I payed almost no attention to skin. The pores are not blocked and I can only see them when I'm almost in the mirror under hallogen light. So my question is what exactly are 'open pores' in terms of size, morphology etc, and if I have them will they go away once my skin heals completely from the acne? Thank You

Dry Skin/Acne on skin won't go away!!!? This is really annoying... I've had dry skin and acne on my skin for a while now. The acne on my skin isn't very bad but when i touch my skin there its sensitive and it burns/stings. i went to the docotr and he gave me a topical solution that i dab on the infected area but this didn't really help. I've been using cetaphil face wash as a soap for my face and then use the moisturuzer they offer after, but this has only helped a little. Sometimes my skin starts to peel on my forehead and its all flaky. Nothing i've tried has really helped. I was thinking about having my mom order me some proactive solution. Hurt, flake,and are pink. I've been using some cetaphil daily facial moisturizer with spf 15. It burns. And a Mario Badescu lotion with spf 17 which sorta burns...barely. Out of the 2, the Mario Badescu works better, but I don't have a lot...it's a sample. Anything else out there I could try? I use cetaphil face wash, and cetaphil moisturizer. So it's non-drying. I also live in NY, so we're very cold right now and dry. I'm under a dermatologist's care for my acne and it's finally going away. I use differin cream. I've not had any issues with it at. The dry skin came out of no where during some low teens temps. So my acne isn't the issue...preventing it is. I wouldn't want to put anything on my skin that would cause it. And the cetaphil I just bought for moisturizer, to try to help with this dry skin. I wasn't using one prior. So it's not the cetaphil drying me out.

Strange facial skin (acne related)? I'm 18 now, and had moderate acne from age 14-17. Since then, it's been mild, however you can see red dots and areas where smaller blemishes are appearing. However, if I look closely at my face in a mirror, I can see large pores, particularly on my nose. They appear as grey/beige dots about 0.5 millimeters in diameter, just under the surface of my skin. If I break the TINY bit of skin covering these 'dots,' I can slowly squeeze out a small, very firm, honey-colored lump about the size of a sesame seed. What are these lumps? Very old sebum that solidified? I can see around 50-100 on my face if I look closely. They've been there for the past year, although they're impossible to see without a bright light and a very sharp eye. Acne / skin firmness? I am an 18 year old male and had some acne on my forehead that i popped, that i shouldn't have. The acne has subdued but has left me with some scarring. Bee Luscious skin care? for oily, acne-prone and scar? hii... i heard lots of good things bout bee luscious makeup and skin care... i have acne-prone skin... but now my skin is much more better, because i went for facial regularly... but it really cost me lots of money... so im thinking for other option... does any one know bee luscious skin care for acne skin really work?? ( now i dun have lots of breakout, it just occasionally, but i need something that able to control breakout) so which type of skin care range that i should try? and im concern about my acne scar as well... if any one have any information about it... plz help me... i really appriciate your information... thank u

acne & skin issues? im at the end of my rope right about now. After a long while of using clean and clear, it stopped working and i started breaking out. i had combo skin, but the oily parts werent that bad. then i started using proactiv which gave me the most GEORGOUS skin ever....untill about 3 months later when that slowly stopped working. The worst part is that the proactiv dried out my skin and when i stopped using it, not only did my skin break out even worse, but now my skin is horibly oily. im still getting verry enflamed, red, itchy acne in medium to small areas, and after trying clean and clear yet again along with nuetregena (rapid clear), it seems that its hopeless. i contunue to break out and it nothing seems to calm it down. SO.....the question is.........try out acnefree, murad, dermitologica??? or my last resort...extra streingth poractiv? im SO lost. PLEASE HELP! Any brand suggestions are welcome! and THANK YOU!

acne/skin problems? I've had a really bad case of acne in my teens years. Today, I admit that it is clearer but I still see flaws with my skin. My skin tends to be oily on cheeks, forehead and maybe sometimes nose & chin. The rest might be dry. I tend to get red very easily. To me, my skin tone appears very uneven. Like it can be dark brown, pale, red or a mixture. But that I'm never too sure. I still have acne too. There more like blackheads or whiteheads? And my cheeks look like they have tiny holes in them, but I'm guessing those are pores. I really dont know what to do anymore. I dont want to try proactiv. Any suggestions to solving some of the problems above? I'd appreaciate it alot Thanks:)

acne skin? im 16 this year..i have a few acne n blemishes on my face..i drink lots of water a day..n i shower 3 times a day..but i still have acne on my skin..it won't fade away..it just leave a few blemish n scars on my skin..what should i do?

ALOT!. i have had breakouts before. then i went to the derm. and it all went away. and now like 10 months later its back!!!...i dont know what to do. im getting alot of little bumps everywhere. even ones i cant see just feel. acne/skin & diet? it makes sense, but i'm not sure if its true. if you eat alot of bad,greasy junk foods, can you get bad greasy skin and acne from it? what about if you eat healthily? if you eat fruits and veggies, will you have better skin and less breakouts? i think this is probably true,but not really sure. what do you say? anyone had experiences to share?
