Can anyone recommend a skin care product for body acne? I am 31 weeks pregnant with my first child and have very bad acne on my shoulders, chest, and back. I know this is due to increased horomones. My face is completely clear, due to my daily regimen of washing, toning, and moisturizing. Since I don't usually have body acne, I don't know of any good body washes or lotions that may help the situation. Can anyone recommend a good body wash or treatment? I have already tried Neutrogena Acne Body wash and it seems to make it worse.

Body acne? I find it a lot harder to take care of than your face! So I shower everyday, and I moisturize and I put some topical medication on the places i can get to but its not helping! (its mild acne but it bugs me even if no one can see it, theres like one or two zits, and then probably little ones that are invisible) so should i just wait to grow out of it? if your a guy, is this a major turnoff?
What is the fastest way to remove acne? I mean it. Without using any acne care products, etc. What is something that will seriously help me remove them, in 24 hours or less? Any home remedies? Does toothpaste work well? I also heard that a quick way is to squeeze it until it pops and wipe off all of the bacteria, then apply neosporin to the hole.. does that work? I never touch my face or anything. They just keep growing! Help! :( -PS: Is there also any way to rid of body acne?! NO. Pro Active has never worked for me. >:| don't answer with your opinions.. "oh, i'm sorry dear, maybe you should tell a doctor or something." Uhm, no! It's what every teenager gets! Pimples! Simple, help me find a way to get rid of them! And prevent them in the near future!

help with body acne and overweightness? ok, i have a problem with body acne on my chest, breasts, shoulders, neck, and back as well as being about 15-20 pounds overweight. so, being a 14 year old girl and having summer coming alot faster than i expected, can someone give me some EASY and FAST ways to get rid of these problems? again, im only 14 and i can't afford expensive diet pills or diet plans and expensive skin care products are out of the question. also, buying stuff online isn't possible for me either because i have no credit card! this is something that really lowers my self-esteem and i really would apreciate ANY help you have to offer. if you're like me and you wanna look great for the summer, you know how hard it is to feel great when you have to cover your weight and acne all the time. ooh, if you know of any good home remedies, that'd be great, too! thanks alot. =]
Acne even though I take super good care of my skin and body?? I cleanse, tone, and moisturizer every day and night, and at night I add a spot treatment to my pimples. It's not so much acne that is the problem, but my T-zone is red and has acne marks left over. How do I get rid of this, and why won't they go away? My skin genetics are pretty good, my mother had beautiful clear skin, and my dad had pretty okay skin (occasional zit but not horribly bad). I am a very healthy eater. I do not like fast foods, and unlike the vast majority of teens I try not to eat too much sugar (diabetes runs on my dads side of the family, so I take extra precautions to food) Finally, I excersize a lot, and wear Non-comedogenic makeup very lightly (Almay Nearly Naked foundation but just a teeny dab, becuase I don't need too much, with an Almay powder over it)
What is the best skin care products for very oily/acne prone skin? I am 31 and looking for something that will help clear up my skin and help lighten the scars. After I became pregnant with my kids, my body chemistry changed and I have been battling very bad acne on my face, neck, chest and back ever since. Has anyone tried the dermalogica line? I started using the Murad anti-bacterial body spray and that has helped on my chest/sholders, but not on my back.

Ladies, How much do you care if a guy has a little acne? People always tell me I'm really cute and have a very nice body, but I have a little bit of acne.
Help please! Quick remedy for body acne needed!? With my Spring Break barely over a week away, I am suddenly experiencing a large breakout of body acne (mostly on my back). While it's been an ongoing problem, it was always very mild. Now, however, it has become too much to bear. Is there any quick remedy to help at least reduce the breakout? I don't care if it is something very temporary, I only really need it to last for a couple weeks. I have some prescription benzoyl peroxide cream for my face, and in desparation I have tried applying that to my back. However, after two days, it really seems to have gotten worse. Help please!
How can I get rid of body acne? I asked a question about what I've got on my legs (mostly above the knees) and arms (mostly forearm, some on my upper arms) and I was told by many people that it sounds like body acne. Not zits or anything like that, just small, pencil-tip sized raised bumps in these areas. My question is - what is a good way to get rid of it? I don't really care what it looks like so much, but I have to say it is very annoying trying to shave my legs where all of that is, and it hurts. Has anyone else ever dealt with this? Was there anything you found that worked best? Thanks so much for any help! =) I've tried the scrubs and everything, and nothing works. I've had this problem for about a year now, and I have tried many things. Just hoping that someone else has possibly found a way to help it.
Body shop skin care oily/blemish tea tree oil wash? Has anyone tried it? Is it good for clearing up acne, I kind of have an oily t-zone so i was wondering if it's worth the price and if it's any good?
the body shop skin care? I have very oily/acne face. I want to try the body shop skin care but there are so many and im not which would be best for my face *hemp, alove vera, seaweed, ect..* any experience with any of those products? thank you.
What is a good daily facial and body routine for someone who has sensitive skin and acne? I am 16 years old. I don't know the steps for taking care my skin really. Normally I just wash my face throughout the day and just use an egg mask. When I take a shower I just use body lotion. If I added more to my routine will it improve my skin or just irritate it more. I am not sure how it works.. No my mom never taught me.. lol..... I read about scrubs and cleansing or toner.. and moisterize.. I don't know where to start. You can suggest me some good products but I don't think that will help for now and the fact that I live in Denmark lol. Just share me what you do daily with your skin... or what would be good for my skin type... like 1. cleanse. 2. scrub 3. toner????..... Thanks it advanced!!! <3 <3 <3
Jenbeauty or JenBjuti Cosmetic, Skin Care, Body Care Products...? A few years ago, I've tried JenBeauty/JenBjuti's (JB) dead sea mud mask, which they later named as J.B. Element. The mask worked wonder for me in improving my complexion and acne. I stopped after I finished the one jar because the price was too high. Compared to other dead sea mud masks, which range between $20-60, JB Element cost $99. It makes me wonder where they get their supply. All their skin care products are overpriced, even compared to the leading brands. My questions: 1) Has anyone tried any of JB's product? If yes, how did it work for you and what did you try? 2) Does anyone know where they get their supply? If yes, where? 3) Does anyone know of any other skin care product that may help improve complexion/acne? If yes, what are they? 4) Does anyone know of any other good dead sea mud mask? If yes, what is the brand? Thanks in advance
What is better to treat acne?? soap and water vs skin care products? Products like Noxema, Clean and clear, clearasil, proactiv, and neutragena. (all of which i have used to no success) So, should i just go natural and stick with soap?? is that really the answer? to simply clean my face like any other part of my body? or am i just picking the wrong products. tell me: soap or product. and why? and if product, which one do you recommend, :) thanks
Is accutane ruining my body's natural way of dealing with acne? I am now an 18 year old male. I first took accutane about a year ago for about 6 months when I had acne ranging from mild to medium-severe, and it had fantastic results. After i stopped taking it acne was not even an issue anymore. Then after about 5 months the acne slowly but surely started coming back. Now I am on it again and it is woking but taking a little longer than the quick results the first time. I was and am now taking 1 pill a day (40) mg i believe. My questions are: 1. Is me taking accutane ruining my bodies natural way of dealing with acne? My brother had some mild acne issues in his teen years but his body naturally took care of it. Should I just wait out the embarrasing acne rather than taking accutane. Can accutane actually delay the acne stage for later years? 2. Are my symptoms/accutane history average for accutane users, and what can I expect for results? 3. Will accutane ever permanently rid my face of acne? Thank you for your time reading my question.
Does the second round of accutane cure acne forever? I was 16, had some bad acne, so i took accutane and it worked 100% after the cycle all acne was gone. But about 6 months later it came back, so now im on it again. After this cycle will my acne be gone forever?????? Also, would i have a better chance of getting rid of acne if i just ride out the storm? Is accutane just delaying my body's way of taking care of acne?? Im 17 now, I dont want acne in my 20's!!!
Does anyone use the Dr. Wexler acne skin care line? I just began using the line from Bath and Body Works about three days ago. I was wondering if anyone else uses this and how you like it? Does it work? How long before you saw an improvement? Did your skin get worse ("purge") before it got better?
Body acne... Tried alot... Pretty much over it but theres always that what if... You know? im 19 now... had pimples since 15 and ever since got worse on my face neck back chest arms and a few on forearms. Some even get right next to my eybrow and above them... I get them in weird places sometimes... Most of its scarred up but i still get whiteheads on my face and neck... Well after alot of things i tried... pills... change of diet... dryin the skin... sun... creams... did all that nothing helps. i got my inner self handled... so i dont really care bout it too much anymore its just who i am... but sometimes it would be nice to not worry about bleeding cuz you bump into something with your shoulder and a whitehead squirts... I know laser and chemicals prolly could help alot... But I dont have the money.. Anything i can do to get rid of this shit? Dont say see a dermatologist or keep yaself clean and dry... i did just about anything you can imagine except literally peel my skin off...
I need some advice on the best products for skin care and body...? Like for acne, what should I go with? Clearasil, or something else? What about body wash, body spray, and deodorant? What's the best that's not super expensive.

My body skin is oily in places and dry in others. I am prone to skin wounds that are difficult to heal. What is a no frill skin care regimen I can follow with common drugstore brands?

Acne that never goes away!!? I've had acne ever since the middle of 8th grade, when I really hit puberty hard. Since then I've been getting excessive amounts of acne appearing everywhere on my face (and on my body). From that point on, I've been caring for my face(and body) a lot, not excessively though (although I've have tried it). I've used products from Neutragena, Clearasel, Pro-active, Sulfur, Benzol Poraxide, Organic products, Acne kits, Scar repairs, and even African black soap intended for acne. As for my body acne, I've got acne and scars all over my back, legs, chest, and...down there. None have worked for me, and I mean none. They havn't prevented my acne, my face does not look clearer using their products, and sulfur only made me smell awful. I am now a Highschool Junior, and I still get the excessive amounts of acne as I've always have. I wash my face morning, midday, and night, and shower every day. I've come across many remedies and many techniques(hot/cold compress, honey, vitamins, no dairy products, better diet) none worked...I can say the only thing that HAS worked for me was sun tanning. The tanning almost removed most of my scars and made my face clear but as the weeks and months went by the acne and scars came back. Now I'm coming to yahoo questions, In frustration, and for help. I'm wondering if anyone has ever been in my helpless situation. Trying mostly every product in existence, and trying mostly every technique or remedy possible. My last resort is to visit a dermatologist and get a prescription of that one pill you take for 6 months. I hope I don't have to resort to that.
How does your body react when you stop taking birth control pills? I have been taking b/c pills for 11 years. Now I am thinking to stop and try to have a baby. I have some health issues that I need to take care of but want to stop to use b/c and switch to other methods for now. I have heard that taking pill for years really messes up your system and you might have really bad painful periods, acne, etc? Anybody experienced that? Thanks
How important really is specialized skin/body treatment (e.g. salts, scrubs, mud masks, peels, etc.)? Seriously- does it make any difference? I usually wash my face with regular soap (I have no acne...used to be very bad and solved it with accutane) so now I dont care, the best treatment I give my face and body is a moisturizing over-the-counter lotion such as Johnson's renewal and the rare occassion bubble bath gel. Am I wise by saving the money..is it all a bunch of marketing? Or is there something I'm unaware of? Facts/evidence/statistics are most appreciated. The only way I'm spending all the money these guys charge is if I really know the cold facts say they are worth every penny. Essentially- highest quality/largest results for the lowest price is my goal. Thanks bunches :)
Acne scars on arms and at home microdermabrasion? Okay heres the deal. Im getting married in two months and I have acne scars on my arms! I use to get acne a lot when I was younger, and the scarring just disappeared on its own. There was a little darkness left, but nothing I even cared about. Then I had my baby, and from all the hormones and stuff exiting my body, I broke out all over my arms! (forearms and upper arms) I didnt pick at them or anything but they still left dark spots. (superficial I guess you could say) So Today I bought the neutrogena at home microdermabrasion kit and Im wonder how well it works. Im not looking for a miracle, just something to make them not so freakin obvious. I bought the "advanced solutions kit" because I couldnt find the "advanced solutions- body" kit. So will it still work well? It didnt say anything about only using it on your face. Also, does it really make a a big improvement? If not, what over the counter stuff works? Cant go to dermatologist. No insureance.
BRAND ranking for facial, body, brightening stuff and yeah any other skin care? hey guy, i really need your guyz help. I'm thinking of using Kiehl's for face ( cleanser, cream, etc ) and L'occitane for body ( body butter ) and brightening stuff from other brands ( which i don't knw which brand is good for brightening ) i just wanna knw if Kiehl's is the best facial product and whether L'occitane's body product is the best i'm looking for something that help me with :- - protect me from the environment ( those DEtOX cleanser thingy, u knw what i mean? ) -acne ( i'm taking Roaccutane at the moment and i'm afraid that if i stop it , it'll come back ( the doctor said my acne is really bad so it might come back ) ...and as i'm on roaccutane , people always suggest to use something REALLY gentle and i was thinking why gentle? what if i stop Roaccutane and acne is coming back ,,,and i of coz' wouldnt need those gentle product) - Brighten my face and my skin, Smooth my face and my skin So yeah, any suggestion ?
What Is The Best Skin Care Product For Very Oily Skin, Whiteheads, Dark Spots & Acne? I have very very oily skin, whiteheads on my nose and chin, dark spots from previous acne and mild acne breakouts. I went to a Dermatologist a few weeks ago and he prescribed Finacea and another medication. The problem is that I'm Black and the Finacea label stated that "darker skined patients may see hypopigmentation occur after using finacea." Hypopigmentation is skin ligtening (albino), so I stopped using it because it will do me more harm than good. The other medication (I forgot the name) had on its label that side effects are blood clotting and bleeding. So that's not beneficial to me either. I want to know if there is any medication for the oily skin, whiteheads, dark spots and acrne that would do me any good. I just want to have a clear face and be happy. I also have stretch marks and spotting on my body. What can help? I want to go to another dermatolgist but I'm really scared they will give me something that has harsh side effects and will make my face look worse
Skin care regime for sensitive dry skin that sometimes get's acne? I have dry sensitive skin, but sometimes on my cheeks I get bumps, which are not hard core zits that pop out or anything, but they're definitely clogged pores (which is what zits are I guess haha) but just in a smaller version... I don't know, they're like whiteheads... on my face... unoticeable from afar, but still.. I really don't know, I've looked this up on the Yahoo message boards; heard St. Ives medicated Scrub and neutrogena is good, but are they too harsh on dry sensitive skin? Right now I use Dove for sensitive skin non-foaming cleanser and the Body Shop's Vitamen E cream exfoliater. - I've never had a problem with them before, maybe the creams I'm using are clogging my pores or something... Please help me with my dry skin.. with minor acne problem haha
Skin care at 20 --- what is the best way to promote HEALTHY SKIN AGING of the face and body? I'm 20, and I've taken the first steps to better skin care by using a foundation (when I wear make-up) with an SPF of 19. I also cleanse my skin with Neutrogena products for acne prone skin, although I don't have acne anymore it keeps my skin under control. Is there anything else I can do NOW to prevent premature aging and wrinkles later on? What about anti-wrinkle creams, or other moisturizers? Any opinions on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Is accutane only delaying my acne? I am now an 18 year old male. facial moisturizer, sunscreen and makeup for acne prone mature skin, any suggestion? I am 30 year old with medium color sensitive/acne prone skin. Couldn't use sunscreen or moisturizer or any makeup on face till now, always gets pimple with them. But now i see signs of aging like enlarged pores, uneven skin tone, few bleakheads, clogged pores, oily T-zone but dry elsewhere, under eye circle etc. Want to use some products those can help with mature skin issues without giving me pimples. I read as many reviews as i can for Bliss, Serious Skin care, Continuously Clear, Clinique, Wei East, Italian Bath & Body Skin Care (hsn) ....but can't decide. Also need help in choosing makeup (may be mineral but which one?). I would prefer less products as i have sensitive skin that can easily break out. Is there anyone who has same skin like me and can suggest some good products? or anyone who has knowledge plz help. thanks

These steps to getting rid of acne? I Here are quick and simple ways that we can care for our skin. 1. Nourish your skin by eating the proper foods. This means healthy and balanced diet. Healthy and balanced diet promotes our general well being and optimizes our body to function at its best. To have a healthy skin, eat plenty of seed food i.e. fruits that contain seeds, vegetables - organic vegetables are better as it contains additional nutrients 2. Drink plenty of water. The recommended eight glasses of water a day is essential in maintaining the skin’s elasticity and suppleness. Water also clears your skin and aids in the proper elimination of waste. Remember, less waste products in your body, more beautiful skin. 3. Exercise regularly. Exercise is good for our heart and body. Even our skin benefits with exercise by increasing blood circulation and thus bringing enough oxygen and nutrients to the rest of our body. Exercise also triggers the body to produce more sebum that is the body’s natural moisturiz IF I FOLOW THOSE STEPS DO YOU THINK THEY WILL HELp? WHAT IM ASKING IS, ARE THESE GOOD STEPS TO GETTING RID OF ACNE? THANKS.
Does an airbrush tan cover acne? I want to get an airbrush tan and am curious to know if it covers acne on your face and body. I don't want to hear, don't do it cause it can turn you orange, that's only if you don't take the proper precautions or take care of it afterwards. I would like answers from those who either get airbrush tans or who have had them Thanks
How much taurine, is too much taurine? I'm just driving my body nuts by drinking energy drinks. Anyway, I drank another energy drink today. Duff Energy Drink. It has 1000% of your daily value of Vitamin B5 (This is considered a really good thing - it promotes acne and health care or something) and then 1000mg of Taurine. What does taurine do exactly, and why does my body react so strangely to energy drinks? I don't get it - I used to be fine when I drank them, now I get sometimes dizzy, really tired, and my stomach feels strange. Comments?
Weird bumps. Do you think its acne or something worse? I have strange acne like bumps on my arm. I've had them for about 2 days now. I took care of a stary cat everytime she came by & just took her to animal services because i didnt want to see her hurt.. I also use baby oil on my body right after i hop out the shower (not doing this because of the bumps). Is it possible to literally have acne on your lower arm? Plan to see someone soon. Any advice is helpful. thank you.
Is my preteen daughter's lack of cleanliness normal? I have a 12 yo daughter whom I have to constantly stay on to take a bath and put on clean clothes and underwear. Her mother and I constantly remind her to put on deodorant and to brush her teeth. She is well developed up top and also suffers from severe acne on her face and back. We don't want to shake her confidence in herself (which she seems to have lots of), but we can't seem to get her to take care of herself physically. To our surprise the acne and body odor has not affected her popularity in school. She has a few friends and gets included in social gatherings. We just want to know is this normal behavior for a girl her age. We expect it from a boy but not a preteen girl who is interested in hair, make up and clothes.
Guys: Would you date a girl with acne of everything else about her was great? -body -features -personality ?? ...My acne isn't TOO bad, and I'm trying really really hard to get rid of it... Do most guys care, or does it just depend? Thanks for answering!!
Is even natural sugar bad for acne? Okay, please, I do not want to hear "Sugar does not cause acne!" It is getting really old and very annoying. I don't care if sugar doesn't cause acne for you, but everyone's body is differnet, and for me, when I eat sugar, I break out more and get red in the face. So, if you could exclude your stupid comments, that'd be great. I heard from Chris Gibson's Acne Free in 3 Days that you should cut out sugar to clear up your skin. Did he mean literally ALL sugar? Like even honey, maple sugar, and cane juice? Or just refined and processed?
What beauty regimen will make me look better in week? I am planning on having sex in about a week from now, what can I do to make myself look better naked. I want to slim down just a little bit (I think I am bloated from all the junk food I eat) I have little acne spots all over my body, I am white as casper and I have black heads all over my nose. What can I do to take care of these little annoyances before its time for me to take my clothes off?
Whats your "health" regimen? I'm going to start taking better care of my body. So, if you can, answer these questions: What do you do daily, weekly and monthly: Workout regimen (to lose or maintain your weight): Your Makeup regimen (or what you recommend for a fair skinned, hazel eyed dark brunette) Can you suggest some natural and bold ways to do it? (a lot of ways to do it is GREAT!) Your clear skin regimen (cleanse, moisturize, and protect or what you do and what you use) to keep it healthy, glowing and soft: Your skin (what do you use for body acne and best moisturzing lotion): Your hair care What shampoos and leave-in things: Your hairstyles (cute ways to do for school) And how to keep your teeth white. Other tips like doing nails is great!

Good soap or body wash? I have recently been having a lot of dry itchy skin. I don't know if it is the weather, a recent weight gain (making my skin a little tight) or nicotine therapy overload from quitting smoking (which would make my weight gain make some sense...) OR even trying a cheap dollar store imitation of Tone bar soap. Maybe all. I am going mad and it is a little concerning. I have tried tea tree shampoo as a body wash, this is good for skin, without much relief. I have also tried medicated itch creams. I break out badly from Ivory of all things. I would like something that smells nice or no scent, liquid preferred, and affordable. Body wash, shower gel...and not uber oily...I break out easy with acne. Any suggestions would be welcome for soap or other skin care.

Thanks!

Adult acne..Solutions? Growing up I never had acne. However, in the recent years I have began to get acne across my lower cheek and chin...basically my jawline. I wash my face every night (usually with Body Works Tea Tree Oil Cleanser), follwed by astringent (ProActiv), then a moisturizing lotion (alternate nightly with either Oil of Olay and/or Philosophy (Hope in a Jar) which I sleep in. During my shower in the morning I again wash my face, this time with an Aveeno face cleanser. I wear minimal makeup on a daily basis. I am assuming this acne is a result of hormones...or is it? What can I do to stop it? It is embarassing to have acne at the age of 29 lol. What are some great skin care products that I can use for combo/oily skin? Give me some great product recommendations please! Any and all help is much appreciated! Thank you, Renee

Dealing With Acne - Accutane a Good Choice? Opinions Please.? I'm 17 and a Senior in High School who suffers from "Medium" Acne. I will be attending college in Fall 2008, and I would really like to clear up my Acne once and for all. I have taken many steps to eliminating my Acne without any drugs, watching my diet, checking if I'm allergic to foods, Washing after playing sports, using Proactive Every Morning and Night. All of these steps have helped Acne, but none of them have gotten rid of it. It's something I've lived with in my childhood years, and all the boys on my Mom's side of the family had it. My friends could care less, and it hasn't affected my social life, but I feel it's time to move on and have clean skin. My Dermatologist feels it is a good choice after not responding to antibiotics. He worries that if we don't do it, I may have even more scars when I grow older. My doctor feels Acutane is bad for the body, and will affect me in sports. A nurse said I'd get cancer from it. What I need to know your thoughts on the drug. Please include sources, and information about: -Acutane affecting sports -Side Affects (I can deal with dry skin) -Long-Term Affects Any other information you would like to include. Thank You for helping me get a third opinion on this matter, and to research it more.
