where can i get the best skin care treatment for acne???????especially when im allergic to benzoyl peroxide? im in the 9th grade and i've had mild acne for about 3 years already. i have tried most products such as clean and clear and over the counter products such as proactive. when i used these products with benzoyl peroxide i would get red bumps on my face and it wouldnt go away until after a week. i was wondering what or which brand of skin care poducts i could use for those who have sensitive skin. i trust neutrogena, it makes my skin very soft and clean, but i dont want to use any acne treatment kits. if you have some products to recommend to me that would be great, i have tried almost everything and im tired of looking through new products that might not even improve my skin. Acne treatment - Make sure im doing it right? Okay. Just to make sure that I'm on the right track with caring for my face. I don't get pimples a lot. Maybe 2 times a month. I use Nutragena Acne Stress prevention and also Nutragena blackhead scrub. I use both of them every day and they seem to be working fine. I still get occasional breakouts if I forgot to scrub places. (Top of nose, temples, forehead) Whenever I get a pimple i usually put milk on it to dry them out. Usually works for me. (2-3 days) My mom says that shes been doing it since her teen years and its worked for her even since. But, the problem is. I have quite a few pimples on my forehead. People say that this is because of my long hair always covering my forehead. I always wash my forehead with acne prevention scrub, so I don't know why its not working if the rest of my face is fine. SO IM BASICLY ASKING.. Do you think this skin-care treatment is good? What could I do to improve it or take away & why am I still getting pimples on my forehead?

What company makes the best all around skin care products for acne-prone skin, regardless of price.? I am 21 searching for the best skin-care product for my acne-prone skin. I have tried many prescription drugs for my skin, and over the counter treatments, none of them seemed to please me. Can anyone recommend a skin care product for body acne? I am 31 weeks pregnant with my first child and have very bad acne on my shoulders, chest, and back. I know this is due to increased horomones. My face is completely clear, due to my daily regimen of washing, toning, and moisturizing. Is it true that when starting a new skin care regimen your acne will get worse before it gets better? In May I started a skin care regimen that almost completely cleared up my moderate acne through June & July.But it august,my life got crazy and I started being lazy.By september,my acne was back. pimple/acne help!? i have a few pimples on my shoulders just on my shoulders. I HATE THEM. Acne treatment tips / suggestions? Growing up, I never really had an acne problem - a zit here and there occasionally. Over the past year I have been getting a lot of zits (I don't know if it's stress, or what.) I didn't think that at 23, I would start getting acne. red/blue Light treatment for acne? yesterday I've had a basic facial done and the aesthetician recommended I should have a series of 6 photo actif treatments (red/blue light) to help heal up my acne. This procedure would cost me $360. Is it worth the cost? Best treatment for "under the skin" acne? Please don't bother answering if you don't have experience with "under the skin" acne or even know what I mean by that! The little skin colored bumps that almost look like a rash all over cheeks, forehead, sometimes chest. Acne and Blackhead treatment? So alot of the products I have say that it might make skin too try if I use them all together. Ive tried stridex and neutrogena acne wash (not at the same time) and both overdry and just make my face go into overdrive on the oil. So Im thinking, what are your opinions of using the oil free acne wash when I shower, then using this neutrogena rapid clear acne face lotion (I tried it and it seems to make me not dry out so my pours dont go awall on the oil) and then using a 10% benzoyl peroxide solution in the evening before bed every other day? And will this take care of blackheads too over time? And do I need to steam my face before using any of those things or does using that acne wash in the shower do the trick since I take warm showers? (like is the warm shower enough for the acne wash and do I then need to steam or warm my face for the lotion and benzoyl peroxide?) The neutrogena things are both 2.5% Salytic acid by the way. Are there any acne treatments for ethnic skin that works? I've had acne since the 3rd grade. I been to dermatologist and have see pharmacist and been prescribed every tetracycline (doxy,mono), clidamycin, vanoxide, retin a, differin, and tazorac. I am currently using vanoxide in the morning and tazorc in the evening. i take 2 pills of doxyxline a day. Most of the antibotics and creams I have used have messed my face. I have large pore, scarring and very oily skin. If there's not a good ethnic skin treatment, can anyone me refer me to any other acne treatment other than accutane. the various antibotics have made my skin peel alot especially in my hair and the cortisone in the vanoxide give me big painful cyst. i have use proactiv, zenmed, murad, acnefree, etc. I'ver heard about heritage skin care but i didn't see any reviews about the product other than the ones on the size and i never trust those. i'm willing to try any prescrip my physican at school can prescribe and i can try any new treatment that are at now. any reccommendations please

Treatment For Acne? Okay, so u have that clean and clear control face wash stuff..would that be enough to effectively reduce my acne...? How important really is specialized skin/body treatment (e.g. salts, scrubs, mud masks, peels, etc.)? Seriously- does it make any difference? I usually wash my face with regular soap (I have no acne...used to be very bad and solved it with accutane) so now I dont care, the best treatment I give my face and body is a moisturizing over-the-counter lotion such as Johnson's renewal and the rare occassion bubble bath gel. Am I wise by saving the money..is it all a bunch of marketing? Or is there something I'm unaware of? Facts/evidence/statistics are most appreciated. The only way I'm spending all the money these guys charge is if I really know the cold facts say they are worth every penny. acne and skin care? my main problem is the acne and the damage it has done to my skin. Altogether, i have acne, scars (both "ice picks" and bumps) dry skin, and aged skin (im 19), too much time in the sun. ok i've been trying to deal with my acne for a long time now, doing everything, drinking water, pro active, mederma for the scars, exercise, washing my face, eating healthy, hydrating lotion. so i guess my question would be where and what should i start to lessen my horrible skin condition. my only suspicion is bad nutrient intake or something related to my digestion is affecting my skin. i dont really want names of products or medical treatments (laser, chemical peels, spas, etc) i just want to know thing i can do within a daily routine or something. sorry about this whole mess of words, im just really frustrated and hope someone can help me. thx!

Ingrowns, red bumps, acne on chest. Desperate, treatment anyone? 3 years ago, I took the worst step of my life when I started shaving my chest. Tiny bumps came up, but they were so little in nmber that i didnt really care + I was so young anyways. Then, I started waxing and more bumps/ingrowns/acne came up. 6 months ago I stopped waxing, and started using nair and veet and it became worse. My girlfriend pops them on my chest and white stuff oozes out of some of the bumps. The rest are just red areas with messed up hair coming out and its a disastrous site. I work out everyday and have such a good physique, but cant show it off in the summer because of this disastrous site. I dont know what to do. Currently I am using PFB vanish which was recommended to me by Cinta salon in San Francisco and Im also using Gly Derm Solution Plus twice a day again recommended by Medspa. polycistic ovaries and acne. what are the treatment options? I am 22 and have polycistic ovaries. I don't have any of the other symptoms such as weight gain or excess hair but I get bad spots. I've been on the pill Dianette for nearly two years and this has been great in clearing up my spots, when I'm on it my skin completely clears up but as soon as I'm off it a month later my skin gets really bad again. I don't want to be on the pill forever (I don't even think I should have been on dianette for this long but my doctor doesn't seem to care) but really don't want my skin to flare up as it obviously makes me upset. I want to know if anyone else has had this kind of problem with polycistic ovaries and whether you've found a cure for acne that doesn't involve being on the pill? btw, i've tried countless antibiotics and creams but they don't work as the problem is caused by my hormones. i would prefer it if people just gave advice rather than being bitter about the fact that my symptoms aren't as "bad" as theirs. i eat healthily and exercise a lot (which is why i haven't gained weight). i just wanted to know if anyone had found something that worked for them.

Proactiv????? I use the Proactiv skin care treatment fr acne and iti works ok i guess but theres this iother stuff they give you called the "Refining Mask" which is WONDERFUL it works great, you can see the results overnight. It says to only use 2 or 3 times a week but I would like to use it twice a day its wonderful. Its a sulfur acne treatment. Do you think its ok to do that????

Acne Problems? I'm almost 19 and I still have acne. I've had acne since I was about 12. I've tried almost everything. I've been to one of the best dermatoligists in BC a couple of times and what he recommended didn't help. I've been on Proactiv as well. It worked pretty good but didn't get rid of it all and I was on it for almost 9 months. It seemed to stop working after awhile. Right now I'm trying the Oxy cleanser, cleaning pads and acne treatment. I've been on it for about 6 weeks. It's working pretty good except that the pimple still don't want to go away and my face is really red. I mostly have pimples on my chin and I have sensitive skin. How can I get rid of acne marks? Okay so I have acne marks.. and like I've had them since probably around July... like I had REALLY bad acne in these two spots from this sunburn I got and it hurt soooo bad.. and like now its just marks..
