Any good acne skin care products that work? So I've used all of the expensive stuff, Pro-Active, Avon, Arbonne, and Mary-Kay and none of those seemed to work and now I'm using Neutrogena (been using it for about 1 1/2 - 2 months now) but that really isn't working either. Have any refrences for other skin care products that will work? (If it helps, my face tends to be pretty oily)

I have tried many prescription drugs for my skin, and over the counter treatments, none of them seemed to please me. I am looking for something that will deliver dramatic results, and even erase the scars that my acne has left behind. I have tried just about all of the prescription methods except acutan. The over the counter methods include Neutragena on-the-spot treatment, clearsil, nothing too fancy.

Acne care products. I've tried alot.? I normally don't get alot of acne but the past month or two I've been getting so much acne! I made a comment to my friend and hes like no you dont. I have small little pimples on my forehead mainly. I've use Clearasil, Saint Ives, and Neutrogena. They dry out my face really bad and leave it red and ichy. I used face cream after it too! I don't know what to try and Proactive costs too much. Will drinking alot of water help my skin. I wash my face 2 times per day with a mild cleanser. What product do you suggest? While using Neutrogena acne care products, should I not use makeup? My skin is still uneven in tone and you can see the blemishes. That's the only reason I ask. Will it work better if I don't put on makeup, or will it work just the same with the light amount makeup on top? I'm 27, I get shingles sometimes and for about a week after it goes away, I will get splotchy skin that not even an expensive spa person could even out, much less aveeno or neutrogena toners. I try to hide it with makeup, but succeed only in lightening it or making it not as sick looking. :( Thanks for all your suggestions, ladies.

Switching Skin-care acne products with pimples.? My skin is not the best. I generally have small acne marks that you can't see unless you get really close, but sometimes I get major breakouts. Right now I have a major breakout (Cystic pimple along with blackhead/whitehead combo), and I went to the store to buy Clearasil Ultra (says compare to Proactiv ingrediants which I have been interested in but never have bought). But I wonder, should I switch from the clean-and-clear Salycyclic acid solution I use now, to the new regiment, or should I wait until this god-awful breakout is over? I don't want to expiriment on my skin and make things worse, even though it is bad right now.
Acne Skin Care Products? I have combination skin, and am very prone to breakouts. I have tried Clinique Acne Solutions and also Proactive. I have just learned, from trying both lines, that I am allergic to Benzynol Peroxide. Is there any really great products that work just as well without the peroxide as an ingredient? As another consideration- money is tight and I dont have health insurance right now... Thanks for all your help. I found this organic stuff from Juice Beauty (found at Sephora). It is 95% organic and has all yummy juices and vitamins and antioxidants. I only used it twice and I swear my skin is looking better already! I love it! Go try it yourself its wonderful!!!!!!!

Skin care products for acne? In Middle school i had really bad acne but by high school i got it under control, im now a freshman in college and im starting to break out in my T-zone. I get red dots that never come to a head or bumps under my skin that really hurt. I wash my face with Neutrogina oil free face wash twice a day and i put on a medicated cream at night. Nothing seems to make them go away. Can anyone help me? I don’t party often at all, last party I went to was in the beginning of December so i'm sure that’s not the problem. I’m a pretty much a healthy eater lots of turkey and ham sandwiches, and salads. I don’t drink pop, so I’m pretty sure my eating style is not my problem. Thanks though I've gone to the dermatologist many times that’s where my medicated cream is from. I also got some pills from him they didn’t work as well as he though so he took me off of them. I’ve tried just about everything out there pro active dose not work at all for me Neutrogena seems to work the best. I wear bare minerals make up if I wear any at all.

Can anyone recommend a skin care product for body acne? I am 31 weeks pregnant with my first child and have very bad acne on my shoulders, chest, and back. I know this is due to increased horomones. My face is completely clear, due to my daily regimen of washing, toning, and moisturizing. A acne care product that would actually work...? I have horrible acne. It started off with just on my forehead, but then it started to spread around on my cheeks, my upper lip, and my chin. and also my whole entire forehead. i have been trying many different products. i have not tried proactive though because there is no place in this town that has a proactive shop nearby. i have tried many things already. but does anyone know anything that could actually work or an easy homecare remedy thing. my skin can be very random sometimes. some days it can be completely oily...and other days it can be really dried out. depending on the product sometimes i guess too. so any treatment that worked for you guys?

Do these acne skin care products and techniques really work...? Mix equal amounts of rosewater and lemon juice. 1 tablespoon each is enough. Apply it on your face with a cotton ball and leave it on for 30 minutes. Do this everyday for a month and your acne will be gone. It works for acne scars as well. I do this everyday and I never have acne, it really does work. 1. Wash ur face with... face soap... 2. When ur face is a little moist (u know... when ur face feels kinda sticky almost) put a little bit of colgate total (toothpaste) directly on the zit or pimple. 3. After it dries, go to sleep. 4. Wash ur face again in the morning.
Which acne skin care product should I use? I have eczema. Because of this, my skin gets extremely dry and irritated when I use certain products. I have tried Stridex, and yes, it gets rid of my acne, but my skin gets so dry it sounds like sandpaper when I rub it. I've used some face creams, but that makes my face swell slightly. High-quality face/skin care products? I swear, I have tried every over the counter face wash on the market at least once, and not one of them works any better than the rest. I have combination skin... in the T-zone it gets unbearably oily in the summer and very dry in the winter. I don't have *bad* acne, but I get little pimples around my nose and lips often, and on my cheek I have scars from old zits... nothing has worked to clear it up, so I resort to oil-free coverup. My skin tone is uneven, but toner negates all the anti-oil and anti-acne products. It would be my dream to have clear, perfect skin with an even complexion and balanced oil levels... but I know that's impossible. Is there any high-quality product out there (special-order, I don't really care) that works for people with my skin type to reduce acne and even out the oil and dryness? Something that REALLY works?? I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars and get the same horrible results I've seen with these OTC products.
