What's that acne skin care line on the commercials? What's that acne care line that says it "works better than ProActive" and that you start seeing results in one day? I can't remember it, and I haven't seen the commercial lately... I'm not interested in ProActive so please don't recommend it. It's overpriced and doesn't work that great. Thanks in advance!

Which of these acne care lines work better? I've been using Proactiv for about a year now, it works okay, but I get breakouts under my nose, on my chin and forehead ALOT now. Also, I think the repairing lotion is making my skin oily. I really want to try something different, and one of my friends uses Neutrogena Oil Free Acne wash and her skin is PERFECT. I was thinking about trying the Neutrogena oil free acne wash cloths, clear pore oil eliminating astringent, and rapid clear face lotion to see if I get better results from them. I also want to start wearing foundation this year, so I was thinking the Almay Clear Complexion Foundation and concealer with Salicyic Acid would do me well. Which of these acne clearing lines would I be better off with? Is the makeup going to work? Please help!

I have tried many prescription drugs for my skin, and over the counter treatments, none of them seemed to please me. The over the counter methods include Neutragena on-the-spot treatment, clearsil, nothing too fancy.

Can anyone recommend a skin care product for body acne? I am 31 weeks pregnant with my first child and have very bad acne on my shoulders, chest, and back. I know this is due to increased horomones. My face is completely clear, due to my daily regimen of washing, toning, and moisturizing. What's the best skin care system for acne prone skin? The birth control pill has always helped my skin, but currently I'm breastfeeding. Pro Active is far too drying for me, and even makes my skin look dry and leathery. I have very large pores, and therefore millions of blackheads (yuck!). acne questions & spectro acne care? i use oxy pads, clean and clear cleanser occasionaly and the other day i just bought spectro acne care deep pore vanishing lotion. my acne is really horrible now like it got better but now its bad again. the scars are horrible too is there any additional products i should use either for scars or for pimples. and does the spectro acne stuff i mentioned work good?!?1 ive went like 2 months not using anything and thats how it got like unbearable so that doesnt work for me

Acne care products. I've tried alot.? I normally don't get alot of acne but the past month or two I've been getting so much acne! I made a comment to my friend and hes like no you dont. I have small little pimples on my forehead mainly. I've use Clearasil, Saint Ives, and Neutrogena. They dry out my face really bad and leave it red and ichy. I used face cream after it too! I don't know what to try and Proactive costs too much. Will drinking alot of water help my skin. I wash my face 2 times per day with a mild cleanser. What product do you suggest? Acne care regimen - Normal, or is something wrong? A few weeks ago, I went out and got some skincare items, and was assisted by a beauty analyst. She told me to use the Vichy NormaDerm (acne-prone skin) cleanser, Biotherm toner, and Vichy NormaDerm hydrating perfection cream every morning and night for clearer skin. Before buying these, my skin was relatively clear, always a few pimples with a some break-outs occuring every now and then. But I wanted perfect skin. The woman told me that I might break out at first, thanks to the products drawing all the impurities out. So, I've been using these every day and night for the past few days.... And indeed, I have been breaking out - But my skin's not getting any better. In fact, today I saw that my acne seems to be getting worse. The packaging (Vichy) says something along the lines of "your skin being smoother and clear in 4 weeks". Now, it hasn't been 4 weeks yet, but I'm wondering if the break-outs are normal with the usage of the products, or if if they just don't agree with my skin. =/ In response to divinefreeflow's post - The Vichy cleanser DOES have sodium laureth sulfate! I looked that up, and it says that it can be a skin irritant, but that it also holds together gels and toothpastes and shampoos and stuff... So, kind-of needed? Ugh.
Murad Acne Care. Have you tried it? This stuff is supposed to be good for people who have failed at proactiv. I am one of these people. Proactive stopped working for me. They are now on an imfomercial also. I looked on another site to see if I can purchase it because I do not want to join those clubs. I can do that. They have the normal people testimonals as well, but I know that really means very little. I thought I would ask on here. Has anyone tried the murad skincare line for acne? What Is The Best Acne Care System? I have acnea normal teenage acne im 14 years old. My acne I would say is moderate is fairly resistant. My acne isn't like horrible I would say it is about moderate. Actually lately its been getting better its just the marks that leave behind! The marks drive me crazy because it makes me look like I have more acne then what I actually have. I probalby have a range of 6 pores at once and then once finally they go away a mark is left behind and then I break out. If I had to say one positive thing about my skin is that it is fairly easy to use cover-up to cover my pores but I wish that I could walk out without any cover-up. Also what is the best quality cover-up that does not cause pores. Netorgena does a pretty good job but are there better then Netrogena? While using Neutrogena acne care products, should I not use makeup? My skin is still uneven in tone and you can see the blemishes. That's the only reason I ask. Will it work better if I don't put on makeup, or will it work just the same with the light amount makeup on top? I'm 27, I get shingles sometimes and for about a week after it goes away, I will get splotchy skin that not even an expensive spa person could even out, much less aveeno or neutrogena toners. Skin care- acne solutions? I was for the past 4 years been on a certain product that was nice and kept my skin hydrated but wasn't working too well with keeping away acne. Just two weeks ago I tried proactive. Now my skin is super dry and flaky. I am stopping proactive and is interested in trying something else that will hydrate my skin and help with the acne. Acne Skin Care Products? I have combination skin, and am very prone to breakouts. I have tried Clinique Acne Solutions and also Proactive. I have just learned, from trying both lines, that I am allergic to Benzynol Peroxide. Is there any really great products that work just as well without the peroxide as an ingredient? As another consideration- money is tight and I dont have health insurance right now... Thanks for all your help. I found this organic stuff from Juice Beauty (found at Sephora). It is 95% organic and has all yummy juices and vitamins and antioxidants. I only used it twice and I swear my skin is looking better already! I love it! Go try it yourself its wonderful!!!!!!!

Naturally Right Skin Care for acne scars? Has anybody tried Naturally Right Skin Care: Age Defying Facial Scrub? I've had a bad case of acne since middle school. Now it is a bit better but I have a lot of acne scars/dents on my face, especially my cheeks. They are rather red and honestly, my skin is just awful. People feel sorry for me. A lady at the gym I go to even gave me a product for my face because she felt bad for me . . . well, anyway! The aforementioned product is sold at my local mall and the saleslady said that in 21 days I should notice a dramatic improvement if I use it. It is supposedly made of all organic ingredients. However, it costs a bit more than I'd like to spend. So~! I was wondering if anybody has used it before and if they think it would work for my acne dents/scars.
